I don't think thats the point, I doubt Khan would intentionally turn away knowing Maidana would clock him good where he couldn't see it but even if he did turn away Cortez did the right thing in breaking them up and resetting.

You can't throw rabbit punches, regardless of whos fault it is.

you answered your own question. out the ropes.

      do you watch boxing son?

maybe dirrell should learn this new defense added to his running. turn his back in the middle of an exchange and act hurt to get the NC.

but if u turn the back of head in the middle of ur opponent throwing a punch. it isn't ur opponent's fault.

Khan was getting hit in the back of the head in a clinch
          Ref broke it up
          Wouldn't expect anything else.

Allan Green was KOed by a behind/side of the head shot as he dipped.

Did the ref listen to him? Nope. He dipped his head.

If u turn ur head and expose the back as ur opponent is throwing. it's ur own damn fault. perioid.

Yea you're right, the Champ should have been pulled out because he was moving and had his guard up and was winning big time upto that point, great reason to pull him out without even a knockdown.

Boxers get hurt all the time, unless you're a Frank Warren fighter or some brit bum in UK, the ref ain't stopping the fight for some piss poor reason.

thats nice and all, but if that rabbit punch would have koed khan, whos fault would it have been??? i hope u dont say maidana...

we see this all the time...fighters turn their back. when its a fighter u like, its not their fault, when its a fighter u dont like (dirrell) then hes not protecting himself. when dirrell does it its his fault. when other fighters like mayweather do it, its their fault. it was khan's fault, even if he was out on his feet.
