Sometimes breaking them up straight away, other times letting shots be thrown without punishment.

it clearly wasnt flush, it was glancing. and it was unintended and it was khan's fault. should the ref have stepped in?? yea probably. but even maidana's next punch was to the face and not to the head. kinda shows his mind was on getting khan outta there and not committing a ****** foul.

LMAO @ the morons defending this obscene reffing job.

So any time someone is getting bombed on they should just turn their back on their opponent. that should be the new defense. Turn you back. Ref jumps in.

You guys are ****ing idiots. Wake up.

It is not a defense. If you turn your back. TOO ****ING BAD. UR OPPONENT IS FREE TO LOOP PUNCHES AROUND TO YOUR HEAD. UR NO LONGER PROTECTING URSELF.

It isn't a ref's job to come in and let u reset without giving an 8 count. Period.

Like I said, if you turn your head and your opponent hits you with clean hooks to the face... it's your problem
If he get's sloppy and starts hitting the back of the head, it's his problem and the ref WILL interfere.

2:10 of the 11th round, Maidana had his back turned and through the ropes?, and Cortez broke the action, why wasn't Khan aloud to unleash some hooks to the head?

Nope. Maidana already threw that punch as Khan turned away.

the hook he threw following it had been partially affected by Cortez. He should've been allowed to tee off on Khan from behind him as Amir gave his back.

Khan wasn't defending himself and was obviously hurt, ref should have stopped the fight.

dude, i dont understand how u are honestly sitting there blaming maidana. so what he was sloppy. he was trying to get khan outta there. khan clearly grabbed maidana's arm and turned his head. its his fault. that, imo is unarguable.
