Vic your a good poster so can you help me with something. How does Manny hold as much ground in boxing as floyd? Manny gets more respect from the media that is clear. But revenue generation, which is always been the most important factor, floyd generates more. Doesn't floyd get to set the parameters if they fight?

Also, why does floyd have to factor in Manny's feelings when making his requests? So what if Manny is insulted. Why does that matter?
it doesn't matter really but pac can always insult him back. pac declined his demand and then sued him...that should sort things out as far as insults is concerned.

Get real man, he's a great fighter, that's all.
I totally get what you are saying...but it still doesnt explain why he is faster and more powerful in his 30's as a WW than he was in his 20's as a Jr Lightweight....

ok now whos on whos ****?

Name me some fighters that were faster and more powerful in their 30's moving up in weight than they were in their 20's at their weight class?

look at Miguel Cotto who was a bit chinny at 140s and was actually put to ***** street several times,

he then he moves up to 147 and takes one bomb after another from Mosley.

Manny Pacquiao's recent success has nothing to do with steroids,

but a carefully picked batch of opponents.

doesn't mean he's garbage, not everyone would be able to move up that many weight classes and beat the people Manny just did.

but people are rather overrating his latest achievements a tad bit.

        just my honest opinion.
Nowhere in my post did i ever say Pqac was on Roids...i was asking a question as to why is he faster and more powerful as he's become older and in divisions above his...thats all...just a simple question.....i cant recall too many fighters who moved up in weight, got older but became faster and more powerful.

You got a point man!! Ive noticed the same thing!! He looked mortal as a light weight but now it seems that nothing can hurt Pacquiao!! I dont get it! But he is a good fighter, I still think hes fought hand picked opponents, either older or just slower fighters than him, Plus he always fights those guys at catch weights!!Anyways hes just human he will get beat soon!!!

Even punching margarito IN THE FACE hurt Pac.

Definitely Pac is bothered by the bigger punchers.

As for the speed, he only APPEARS faster only because he's fighting bigger, slower men who aren't accustomed to fighting smaller, faster fighters.

He didn't get faster, his opponents got slower.

Experience, dedication to the sport and honest hard work tend to make a good fighter great. Not just steroids.
I gotta disagree with some of the things youve mentioned...Manny didnt get faster? hmmm thats not true...

also his KO percentage is higher at 135lbs + than it was below 135lbs

This isnt a Mayweather vs Pac thread....

My question is....how many fighters have moved up in weight and become faster and stronger as theyve gotten older?

Stop with the agenda against Pac.
Is Cottos KO percentage higher above 140'bs or is it higher @140lbs?

Also did Cotto become faster or stronger as he's become older?

Some people on here believe he is on steroids, some don't.
Any boxer could be on steroids but it's just a case of innocent until proven guilty.

If that does happen and he is proven to be on steroids I will hold my hands up.
