Come on man, get off this kick. He is not on steroids. I do believe his quality of opposition is meek, and that is a big reason for his massive successes, but he is not on steroids. There is no proof of this, and that accusation is getting old and you can't be serious when you say "Questions for serious fans" then you basically put an underlying message in your question where you are automatically point to him being on steroids.
Get real man, he's a great fighter, that's all.I totally get what you are saying...but it still doesnt explain why he is faster and more powerful in his 30's as a WW than he was in his 20's as a Jr Lightweight....
ok now whos on whos ****?
Name me some fighters that were faster and more powerful in their 30's moving up in weight than they were in their 20's at their weight class?

he would constantly rehydrate back in the 140s during his fights at the lower weights.
i would say he was struggling to make weight and that his conditioning is much better now.
look at Miguel Cotto who was a bit chinny at 140s and was actually put to ***** street several times,
he then he moves up to 147 and takes one bomb after another from Mosley.
Manny Pacquiao's recent success has nothing to do with steroids,
but a carefully picked batch of opponents.
doesn't mean he's garbage, not everyone would be able to move up that many weight classes and beat the people Manny just did.
but people are rather overrating his latest achievements a tad bit.
just my honest opinion.Nowhere in my post did i ever say Pqac was on Roids...i was asking a question as to why is he faster and more powerful as he's become older and in divisions above his...thats all...just a simple question.....i cant recall too many fighters who moved up in weight, got older but became faster and more powerful.Comment

You got a point man!! Ive noticed the same thing!! He looked mortal as a light weight but now it seems that nothing can hurt Pacquiao!! I dont get it! But he is a good fighter, I still think hes fought hand picked opponents, either older or just slower fighters than him, Plus he always fights those guys at catch weights!!Anyways hes just human he will get beat soon!!!Comment

What do you mean not bothered by bigger punchers? Cotto busted his ear, clottey, who barely threw punches, messed up his face and for the margarito fight, pac had to be brought to the hospital, cancelled all his other engagements and COULDN'T EVEN SIGN AUTOGRAPHS. Even punching margarito IN THE FACE hurt Pac.
Definitely Pac is bothered by the bigger punchers.
As for the speed, he only APPEARS faster only because he's fighting bigger, slower men who aren't accustomed to fighting smaller, faster fighters.
He didn't get faster, his opponents got slower.
Experience, dedication to the sport and honest hard work tend to make a good fighter great. Not just steroids.I gotta disagree with some of the things youve mentioned...Manny didnt get faster? hmmm thats not true...
also his KO percentage is higher at 135lbs + than it was below 135lbsComment

Is Cottos KO percentage higher above 140'bs or is it higher @140lbs?
Also did Cotto become faster or stronger as he's become older?Comment

It's just my belief... anyone could be on steroids I just don't think he is.
Some people on here believe he is on steroids, some don't.
Any boxer could be on steroids but it's just a case of innocent until proven guilty.
If that does happen and he is proven to be on steroids I will hold my hands up.Comment
