Why didn't JMM complain and try to force FMJ to fight at 140? He didn't even complain about having to come up that high in weight, he was just happy to be sharing the same ring with Floyd and making the big bucks. But, when it comes to Manny everything should be "fair"? And, could you imagine JMM telling FMJ "Fight me at 135-140 where I'm comfortable. (or no fight)" Or, JMM insisting on a 50-50 pay split with Mayweather (or no fight)? Floyd would've just said "O.K., buh-bye." So why should it be so different against Pac?
If you want to fight the top dog to make the big bucks then you should be the one having to make consessions - not the other way around. To me, it's a little like the smallest guy on the block calling out the neighborhood giant for a game of one on one - and then telling him that he has to play in his backyard with both hands tied behind his back... AND lose 20lbs. to make it "fair". YOU called HIM out, if you want it that bad you need to do what it takes to get him to face off with you.
Personally, I want to see a third fight between these guys. I don't know why JMM should be all that concerned about weight, no one is forcing him to weigh in at the full limit. And he already knows that Pac is not going to weigh more then 147-148 on fight night (in fact since JMM isn't bigger like Pacs last few opponents, he will probably weigh even less then that to increase his speed). JMM weighs close to that on fight night as well. Pac just faced a guy weighing 17lbs. more than him on fight night and people are still complaining about a 150lb. weigh in limit (supposively draining Marg), but yet they're worried about a 2 or 3lbs. weight difference for Pac on fight night? (JMM came in at 145 against Kats, Pac came in at 147 against Margarito - on fight night) I'm sure many of JMM previous opponents weighed a lot more than 2 or 3lbs. more than him on fight night. AGAIN... no one is forcing JMM to put every single pound on! But, even putting that aside, JMM wants to move up in weight ANYWAY! Let's see JMM get his own strength and conditioning coach and move up in weight, putting on muscle instead of fat - like Pac did. Now is the time to do it rather then complaining how you want a fight so badly, but are unwilling to make any conssessions to prove your own greatness.
JUST TO MAKE IT CLEAR.... I AM NEITHER A JMM HATER OR A "*******".I have great respect for JMM, which is why I want to see Pac face him rather than Mosely. Just do what ya gotta do to get this fight Juan, and let's get it on...
BTW - Don't worry about Oscar... by next week he will simply say he was "Misquoted" or that someone had a gun to his head, forcing him to constantly say outlandishly ****** ****.
This so far has the biggest sense i all that i've read.

ODLH cannot blame Pac if Pac wont fight JMM. Pac is the bigger draw this time. And if He's complaining about how he lost to Pac in their bout, the blame is all on him. He cannot make the excuse that he didnt fought at WW for 7 years because Pac has neither fought at that weight before they battled.
ODLH shouldnt blame anybody else except for himself and GBP.

Green k.
I love JMM, too. But above 140 he'd get demolished. The whole thing about fighting at the 147 limit is meaningless. PAC just weighed in at 144 for the 150 catchweight. That's ******ed.
Catchweight or not, Pacquiao will weigh in UNDER 147 and JMM will have to bloat up to that weight. And Pacquiao will simply destroy JMM and force a stoppage.

I think it's Roach. Manny would probably fight a gorilla if Bob Arum told him to and paid him to. It's Freddy that's scared and that fear has put a massive handicap on Manny's entire career imo.
The fact it took this long for people to see it is what's really sad though, these so called "boxing experts" aren't really experts and their opinions are in fact garbage. lol They just want to see any and everyone catch a vicious beat down, they're not really interested in competitive fights.

DLH is full of ****... It's not like he, or any other fighter that Pac fights, just found out the night before the fight that there is a catch weight.. If they cant make it then dont sign up to fight, period.I'd love to see JMM get a chance at Pac, this time Pac will show how much he has grown as a boxer.. Pac will shut his mouth and retire him like Margs.. This fight wont go past 7rds. Katsidis gave him trouble, Pac is no Katsidis..

BEFORE THE FIGHT:
Oscar Dela Hoya
This is the best training camp I ever had, I feel very good.
"It's great having those men, those legends, in my training camp," beamed De La Hoya. "Nacho is a great trainer and he obviously knows how Pacquiao fights, Angelo trained Ali and (Sugar Ray) Leonard and he's so inspirational being here."
Ricky Hatton
Mayweather: "My man's ready, and I know Freddie 'The Joke Coach' Roach is scared right now."
Roach: "Oh, he is?"
Mayweather: "And he's probably going to go crawl up in some hole somewhere."
Antonio Margarito
"Antonio is in top shape, it's going to be a great fight and we've been at it for nine weeks. Margarito tells me he feels even better about his condition, his training, than he did before the (Miguel) Cotto fight.”
See what happened to Pacquiao's opponent after the fight blog.johnny360.com/2010/11/destructive-force-of-manny-pacquiao.html
At the end of the day, they will cry 'I WAS WEIGHT DRAINED' blah blah blah blah
