Interesting lol, its obvious and always has been one only has to understand weight and what they are looking at during a fight, over 90% of people in here are fans and very ignorant ones to boxing under the bonnet, they are confetti boys with heroes, not boxing analysts that understand how boxing works.

    • Yah tbh catchweights shouldn't exist, but pacquiao reached an eighth division. Why should he fight the dude when they have like 40 pounds on him LOL

Doesnt matter where you started, scales record your weight the moment you step on them, so a 150lb Manny is 150lbs and he had many fights at WW, why does he need a CW on the likes of Algieri, why Cotto at 145 but Oscar is147, why Margarito at 150, why JMM at 147 when he wanted 144, if you breakdown Mannys weight clauses and when he used and not used them regarding fights you will drown in the details.

I didn't grill Tank for that, I don't like any weight stipulation but many in here think its the evil monster when they are not all equal, each one is different, the rehydration clause being in the morning with 12hrs of rehydration time left before the fight basically means the 146 rehydration clause is mute, the 136 CW is more influential on the fight than the 146 clause.

here bro let me hand you this L. What I can tell you is that 146 pounds is not a big deal. It only mattered with margarito but pac let marg balloon up to 170 pounds. That 1 pound catchweight makes a difference, but it's not the end all be all lmao.

Best you rephrase I don't understand waffle, I told you the 146 don't matter, as far as Margarito he could have been 200lbs he was shot, coming of 2 yrs out looked like sht in his Mexico come back fight, was put in a 26ft ring, the gloves were illegal for the weight, and to top it of Margarito was refused a boxing licence by the commission and Bob bought him one in texas so Manny could get a 154 paper title at a 150 CW, and before this he called out Cotto who held a 154 title and Cotto said sure but no CW and the rest is history.

Like I said the fine details that mean so much will drown you.

Youre a fanboy with a fanboys mentality of making ridiculous comments you couldn't back up in any debate.
