You really not saying shit the question is now, and right now they're bigger than Oscar ever was.

You're the one who is going to Burner and Horus standards by making excuses on why Floyd and Pac are bigger now. Saying if Oscar was fighting this era blah blah blah...
homie, stop hating on oscar and stop trolling with horus like arguments, lol, nyahahahahaha

i read this whole long ass thread and everybody disagrees with you, lol, everyone but you know youre wrong homie but i at least aint a oscar fan but i give him his crown because if pac never fought oscar, lol , pac will never be a seller like he is now and if you state differently, you will be like making a poor mans version of a burner argument homie, lol, nyahahaha

And virtually every fight has comps, free tickets, etc so what's your point?

The gates for Pac-Hatton and Pac-Cotto outdid Floyd-Marquez by 3,500 tickets and about $2 million, only Floyd-Shane outdid a Manny fight, so no, get your facts straight.

And Floyd is nothing without 24/7 and his wanksta fugazi act, he'd only have his boring style to sell PPVs which means he'd go back to pulling in 300K at the most, meanwhile Manny proved he could pull in more than double that against a guy 99% of the public had never heard of, with no promotions on short notice.
i suggest you reference horus' thread

Not going to waste my time clicking that ****. I see the name Horus, I know to not waste my time. After all, I don't have a twitter, so I'd be out of place

The official initial HBO number for Mayweather-Marquez was 1 million, but pretty much every initial number goes up by 10-15% which is why it's at 1.1 now. Pacquiao-Margarito did an initial 1.15 mil, but will probably be at 1.25-1.3 mil in a few months when all systems are reported/counted.

But none of that matters. Since Oscar, both guys have had 3 fights that featured 24/7 and both guys averaged 1.1 million buys. without 24/7, Manny's number goes down to 1 mil. Add Manny being more active and garnering more total numbers (2.1 mil vs Floyd's 1 mil in 2009, 1.9+ mil to 1.4 mil in 2010) then you know what conclusion one can logically draw right?

        Goodnight

I don't get why everybody is making that argument? Nobody is dis*****g that.

Pac has 3 years in a row where he has had 1million+, Oscar never did that.

Floyd has 2 PPV's back to back to go over 1million+, Oscar never did that.

Both Floyd and Pac last 4 PPV each did 700k+, Oscar never had 4 PPVs in a row to go over 700k+

Pac and Floyd right now are bigger draws than Oscar ever was... Keyword being RIGHT NOW. There last 4 or 5 fights have done crazy ass numbers. Just ridiculous.

I say they are about the same if you compare opponents that are around the same fansize

            Pac-Cotto 1.25, De La Hoya-Trinidad 1.4
            Pac-Margarito 1.15, De La Hoya-Vargas 935,000
            Pac-Hatton 850,000, DLH-Mayorga 925,000
            Pac-Clottey 700,000, DLH-whitaker 720,000, DLH-Quartey 570,000
            Pac-DLH-1.25
DLH-MAYWEATHER 2.4, Pac-Mayweather will be around there and maybe even higher

Its just de la hoya had a lot of PPV fights through out the years and could have had way more if he wasn't a part time boxer/promoter.
Pacquiao will probably have 2-4 more PPV fights in the next 2-3 years and call it a career. probably hitting over a mil in all of them.

There is no comparison between Oscar and Pacman.

Oscar is an American and Pacman is Non-American!

Inside USA, American Boxing superstar like Oscar will have an edge!

But, if you have a non-american making sells at PPV

Then, certainly Pacman has that quality of being a Boxing superstar!

I don't have anything to be angry about... Last thing I saw when Tito fought Oscar was Oscar running for his life.
