Very true, and I agree people don't want to understand that though.

      I agree.

Here is where I disagree, both Floyd and Pac would be the Oscar in that match. That is why it would surpass the Oscar-Floyd fight. Yes Oscar was the headline for The World awaits but Floyd was also a factor in the buys like you mentioned.

However, going in to that Floyd was doing less than 400k while Oscar already had a few fights doing more than 900k.

Now going into the Floyd-Pac fight you would have both superstars doing more than 900k PPV buys. Which is quite different from the Floyd-Oscar situation.

Everyone is saying ******* this and ******* that. And, that Oscar was a bigger draw but nobody is showing any proof.

Right now, as in right now both Floyd and Pac are bigger draws than Oscar ever was. Ok Oscar made them, fine but that doesn't take right now they're bigger draws than he ever was.

BTW, I also like that Oscar made Tito, Mosley, and Hopkins... I mean let me give you a list of all the million PPV buys they had.

So what are you talking about?
Its easier to promote a fight in 2010 though. With internet and all.

oscar was the bigger draw no doubt, Thats also one of the reason's he was called the golden boy because of the $$$ he generated. pac is not the big blockbuster star that everyone thinks he is.

              FALSE

Money vs Pac would sell more than possibly any other fight yet, I believe it.
They are not bigger draws now in general and I don't see them ever being. His name is synonymous to boxing. Oscar is one of a kind stop trying to compare him to others.

they didnt need a gold medal but they needed the man who won the gold medal to get there, and dont say that i asked right now, because something needed to happen so they could get to where they are right now, and they fought oscar

                    OK, and?

Still right now they're bigger than Oscar ever was. Does it really matter how they got to the point to be surpassing Oscar? As long as they're surpassing Oscar.
