please compare mannys fights this year to sergios. i still got pac higher than floyd on activity.

Beating Pavlik is no different than Margarito at this point. I will say that his Win over Williams was magnificant but not enough to boost him over Manny. Outside of this win....what has Martinez done to give him the nod over Manny especially considering the fact that Manny just came off a decade in which 90% of the BWAA gave him the distiction as the best fighter over the past 10 years by a landslide.

No disrepect to Martinez and I like him as a fighter but in no way, shape or form is he above Manny P4P right now.

Funny this is is next opponent may very well be a guy like Cotto, Mosley, Chavez jr or someone else like that.

Bute fight won't happen, Sturm is in one of those German witness protection programs, and Angulo is having issues with his boxing career. Hopefully it's Pirog though....as that is one helluva fight, but the chances of him being P4P number 1 right is very slim due to him not having the marquee named opponent to elevate him to that status.

the pavlik win eats the resto win. pavlik was the recognized middle weight champ and it was for the lineal title. you know pac and resto fought for the wbc belt they made martinez give up.

If Manny looked terrible this year, I'd give it to Sergio. But he dominated his two opponents just like Sergio did so I'd still have Pac at #1. Sergio at #2 and Floyd at #3.
