Why would he be "better prepared?" Wouldnt that apply to both fighters?

I didnt say it was. Although Williams was already training for a big fight, Martinez was training for a tune up. They both had to switch styles.

Williams was training for a completely different style and opponent. They both were training to fight. Period. Whether it was a "tune up" or not. It's a myth to say Williams had some kind of training advantage. He had to fight a different opponent on short notice too. And if you want to get technical, Martinez was told to prepare for Williams in case Pavlik pulled out a second time which he ended up doing.

because he already knew williams' style so he already know what to expect. that applies to williams as well but martinez just got that fighting style that can adapt multiple fight plans. williams has only one way of fighting.

I dont know if thats exactly true since Williams offered Clottey the fight first. I think the intesity of Williams training may have been slightly higher. Sexy did get tired at points, i think with a full camp, he could iron those issues out. I think Williams has a tougher time trying to adjust to Sexy's style

I think Williams will take it by decision, and I don't think it'll be as close as last time.

While Martinez is the more skilled fighter, I think Williams actually showed a better ability to adapt the first time around. In the second half of the fight there were times when he was able to anticipate SM's punches and land some good shots because of it.

Sergio has good headmovement and that works great as a defence most of the time, but because of PWill's reach, he was able to land often despite SM's movement. I kept expecting Martinez to adapt to this by keeping a higher guard or parrying more punches, but that didn't really happen.

Stamina will probably be a key aspect as it was last time. Martinez took a round off against both PW and Pavlik, Williams and his corner will be anticipating that this time and may end up throwing even more punches (if that's possible lol). I also wonder if we'll see more body punches from Williams as part of an attempt to wear down Martinez or at least slow down his footwork.

Not in the middle of training for Pavlik. No he didn't. And again, they both had a full training camp. If Martinez got tired it wasn't from being out of shape or lack of training.
