And his pre-fight gameplan (hands low vs some shorter/slower guys is different than another tall southpaw know for his speed).

I don't remember paul looking big in that fight, I can't ever recall thinking his legs looked anywhere near sturdy.
I agree, man. What kind of defense are they teaching Paul? Even when he moves his grill he looks like a bobblehead. I mean, now they have time to prep for Martinez so I expect something a little better than leaving your arms straight down after you throw, Diego Corrales-style (RIP).

Great fight, both great warriors .

I think Martinez probably wins by TKO, doctor will stop the fight due to a cut on williams' left eye.

They made a great adjustment in the last fight, so lets see what George does for him in this camp. I clearly remember pwill beginning to pick off those hooks in the second half of the fight- whihc is where he pulled the fight out imo. I had him winning by one points, same score after watching it multiple times even with the hbo replays choosing to show the big sergio shots way more than paul's shots he was landing.

i think they need to work on him finishing the exchanges more as well. the last one to punch.

I had him winning by one point as well. He did a lot of great work from the mid to late rounds but you couldn't tell because Jim Lampley was having one of those nights where you wish he'd just STFU. Still, can't wait for Saturday.

Lampley develops crushes on guys and that's all he will mention. The second half of the first fight he would only talk about Sergio or his punches. That being said, Paul figured him out late, has the eye of the tiger with Martinez taking Pavlik's belt, and a full camp towards Martinez' style. Paul by KO.

I'm looking forward to this fight waaaay more than Pac-Margs. I just got that because I've been boxing starved for a couple months now.

They were blatantly riding sergio's nuts in that fight, it got a little old by about the 6th round.

I tell you what, if rumors are right about Sergio getting soft since the last fight and he's not in shape like their first fight, he's gonna have big problems. Pwill is exhausting to watch, imagine having him in your face for 12 hard rounds.

What did you think of his performance against Cintron? Granted, hard to judge any fight by the first three rounds and I know their plan was to be patient but he seemed lethargic. I'm wondering if he's hungover from the Martinez fight still or if that was an off night.

I mentioned it earlier, but a fault of Pwill is that he's not up 100% for every fight. He was just getting started. He says it in his own interviews how important getting into his rhythm is, and when he's not up for a fight, it takes him forever.

To me, it looked like he was getting into his rhythm in the 3rd.
