That's a bit extreme and would never happen. Let's be real. Pac weighs 5 lbs less than Marg.so if Manny said "**** it" and decided to fight a light heavyweight for his title(s) you're telling me that would be okay simply because Manny didn't exceed 175? you're an imbecile..
there IS a problem with this situation it's just not as big of a problem as I made it in the other thread and how you're making it now, this shouldn't even be a topic you literally just made a thread based off my conversation in the other threadComment

gawdammit guys.
I don't even know youthe fact that you made a thread about this shows idiocy as is because you know damn well you could have just replied to me you just want to go off indirectly and that's a ***** moveComment

I don't think you get it. as long as a boxer is under the maximum weight limit of a division, he can weight whatever he wants. usually in our day and age, a boxer will chose the lowest maximum weight limit that they can make. But rarely in a few extraordinary instances, will a boxer (like mayweather or pacquiao) will step up and fight boxers that are way too big for them. it's their decision and it's their risk.
if that"s what the fans really want then i'm sure it could be made, but I highly doubt either guy would want to make that fight, nor would the fans want to see it, nor would any sanctioning org allow it, nor would any commission allow it.Lol, I don't think you understand my anger at this fight and some of Pac's recent bouts. Pac's legacy is forever etched in time with 7 titles in 7 different weight divisions; soon to be 8. People will say NO OTHER FIGHTER HAS DONE THIS without understanding the fallacy behind it. 2 of those soon to be 8 titles occurred under catchweight terms. If he retires by the end of tomorrow, his legacy is concrete and that legacy has false merits. Do you understand now? If you really want to get down to the nitty gritty, the De La Hoya bout was a catchweight fight in that Oscar hadn't weighed in south of 150 since the year 2000 prior to the fight with Pacquiao.define a fighter's legacy???
pac has only had 2 catchweight fights!!!!! gawddamn you mutha****ers have a short as memory!!! lemme give you some advice... before you start talking about "legacy" and what casual boxing fans are calling pac 100 years down the line... first define pac's legacy by looking at his entire career, and not just the past 2 fights.
gawddamn you guys. gawddamn.
There may be no written rule with a required minimum for a particular weightclass; however, it is basically implied in the required maximum. For example, the jr. welterweight division ends at 140. Therefore, in essence, 141 is the start of the welterweight division. Your argument reminds me of Christine O'Donnell's statement about the Constitution not having the exact line of "separation of Church and State." It may not be there, BUT IT'S IMPLIED IN THE FIRST *********. Likewise, there's an implied minimum once you go over the weight limit of a particular class. TO FURTHER HIGHLIGHT THIS FARCE OF A FIGHT, TEAM PAC WANTS TO GET A 154 LB BELT AT 150. They are placing their own limits on a weight division, which is essentially against the rules.Comment

understood but that's what this imbecile is trying to say, he's saying that you can weigh whatever you want as long as you don't exceed the Max agreed upon limit I just made that example
also he only weighs 5 pounds more today right now but tomorrow? this is where we will see the REAL weight disparity between the 2Comment
