corrales was a slight favorite , let's not pretend like it some huge upset and flyd defied the odds.

corrales at the time floyd fought him , was a 130 champ for about 2 years with his big wins coming from beating roberto garcia , angel manfredy and derrick gainer.

delahoya at the time mosley fought him , was a 130/135/140/147 champ with wins over john john molina , rafael ruelas , genaro hernandez , jesse james leija , julio cesar chavez , jorge paez , pernell whitaker , hector camacho , oba carr , ike quartey.

not only that but mosley had just come up straight from 135 to 147 a year earlier.

to even compare a corrales win to a delahoya win is ridiculous.

                it's not even arguable really.

Larry why bring up this old ass argument, when you know it is going no where/ Margarito and Shane are no where near Floyd's calibur.
                  Just let them hate.

                  Margarito best win: Tainted
                  Shane Mosley best win: Tainted

One used steroids the other bricks...

                  End of discussion.

In context to your last post and thinking it through more thoroughly, i retract my statment. Its not arugbale, Oscar was a better win. I got a little ahead of myself there.

Why don't we throw Oscar out for both of them since Oscar lost every big fight he ever had.

People seriously underrate the early part of Floyd's career, let's say pre-Gatti. Beating Genaro Hernandez as young as he did in the dominant fashion he did was very impressive. In b/t there and Gatti you have Manfredy (debatable stoppage, but I think he would have won either way), Corrales and Castillo, a 1 loss N'dou, a 1 loss Jesus Chavez, a 2 loss Chop Chop.

More importantly, after winning his first title Floyd never fought another complete bum/nobody opponent. The same can pretty much be said for Mosley, the same can definitely not be said for Margarito.
