I believe Floyd's demands were not pointless but they were also half-hearted. He himself trying to say that he's trying to clean up the sport was just pure bullshit. If he was trying to clean up the sport, he'd require the fighters under his promotional banner to undergo ODST. He'd be also writing or showing up to numerous state commissions trying to champion random drug testing in the sport. This is the start of cleaning up the sport aside from doing ODST from your own fights.
Floyd's random blood test demands were pointless

LOL, i'll throw back your question
so why Floyd just doesn't accept the 7-day to suit them both?
the latest failed negotiations stipulated that Team Pac agreed to everything, because probably they already knew the USADA procedure
****sucker Koncz just made it specific, one which USADA would deem acceptable
but not for Floyd, whose running out of excusesComment

Which is more likely?
1)
Lebron James : Show me yous ass
Kobe Bryant : Sure!
2)
Lebron James : Show me your ass
Kobe Bryant : WTF?? just dont touch

forget the cut-off for any blood testing... There's no problem with Pac taking his blood after the fight and its more than enough and conclusive to find out if he is really on PED or something. In fact, Pac passed all the post fight test in all his previous fights... Mayweather asking ridiculous terms is really pointless and a clear sign of cowardliness imo.Comment

I have trouble believing boxers would submit to full year testing if they cannot be bothered to do them for one fight for 40-50 million dollars.
Nonetheless I agree, full year testing is a great idea.
As for Manny's superstition,I find it odd that it coincides with the request of drug testing and that he is having his 2nd consecutive fight in a state that doesn't demand any testing....Comment

Personally,I don't need to defend him.The facts do that....they are both tied in "ducking",as you would call it.yea floyd moved the goal posts because he knew manny was coming for him. the actions of a scared man. if 14 days was good enough for the first negotiation what changed in a couple months? everyone involved thought it was fair and the fight was all but done but mayweather still refused to fight pac. why defend his ducking?
Pac neglected the initial offer and Floyd stuck his nose up to the old offer when it was asked for at a time when he said it would no longer be available.Unfortunate as it is, Floyd said take the 14 day cut-off now,or it will be off the table and FULL testing would be asked for in the future.
Pac knew this would happen. He is just as much to blame, neither guy believes in compromise enough to get the fight together.
Does it even make sense to negotiate a fight if neither was not interested???? I'm sure they are interested if the deal meets BOTH of their needs (or egos).Comment
