He'd be also writing or showing up to numerous state commissions trying to champion random drug testing in the sport. This is the start of cleaning up the sport aside from doing ODST from your own fights.
I agree,Floyd could have used other facets and means if he wanted to "clean up" the entire sport.I think he is only "cleaning it up" with his opponents, nobody else.It is a step in the right direction, but only where it concerns him...

It would be better for his cause to approach commissions and figure out ways to include randomized testing into their agendas....instead he just demands his opponents to take the tests....it's good, but kinda selfish.

Nonetheless I agree, full year testing is a great idea.

As for Manny's superstition,I find it odd that it coincides with the request of drug testing and that he is having his 2nd consecutive fight in a state that doesn't demand any testing....
They dont blood test athletes all year round , OST style is random thats its power , the athlete CAN be tested all year around at any time of day very few are , the key is random !

To test ALL athletes ALL year round is financially impossible , thats why they focus more on the major players the Phelps and Bolts of sport , comon sense would think it would be silly waste of money testing the losers , its the same with racehorse,s they look hard at the winners .

Yes,I know this.It is at the authorities discretion...it is "all year around" in the sense that they can be tested at any time.

At the elite level,I feel it should be mandatory, while I also believe that there should be some way to improve modern testing. It doesn't seem to be prioritized by the commissions-even when they find out that people have been slipping through the cracks.

You dont believe in progress for the better , pretty narrow mined view you have there kid , you do realize it was once bare knuckles , progess kid its called progress , and your view is a bit conceited considering you support Manny and he changes official rules when ever he feels like it , 8oz gloves at 154 , CW forcing title holders to come lighter than official division limit , 154 vacant belts at 151 ,,,, Manny has made demands on fighters out side of official rules all the way back to Morales ,,,,

So really what the *** you on about .

What you moronic *******s fail to realize is Mosely agreed to random testing all the way up to the fight. They had no idea when it would be cut off and were prepared to give blood all the way up to the fight at any time without any arguments. Shane had no problem with it because he had nothing to hide.

esp. if the fight was supposed to be the most lucrative one, most sought after of our time

that's why they cutoff at 18 days

so Floyd fans: would 7-day cutoff suffice?
I say 7 days is cool, but let USADA decide.. If they decide to not test then ok, but let them decide. Having a blackout or cutoff period should not be an option (Random is Random)... If they decide to test in the 7 day period or not, the fighters should still be subject to testing...
