as I have stated, if nobody who was supposed to protect Briggs would do his ****ing job, then I feel the responsibility was Vitali's, it wouldn't have been such a terribly heavy task to just make a little sign to the ref

most of the time, the ref does wake up and realizes that if the fighter dishing out the punishment is worried about his opponent's health, that's because the stoppage time is long overdue

what's the ****ing point in punching a man in the head when he has no defense and can't fight back ?

what the hell are u talking about? This guy was a 2 time hw champion 6'5 260 270 lbs, cherry picked are u on drugs? Fighters are supposed to fight and show no mercy, getting hurt a risk a fighter takes when they step in the ring.

this is a ******ed reply, as you do not know what you are talking about obviously

before his long lay-off of 2 and a half years in 2007, Briggs was already a shot fighter who had huge stamina/asthma issues

he won the WBO championship with a last seconds KO in a fight in which he was behind, and he should never have gotten the W over Foreman who beat his ass around the ring for 12 rounds

it is a no-brainer why everybody were calling this fight a mismatch and saying Briggs didn't deserve the fight in the first place

since he came back, he scored 4 first round KOs over 4 tomato cans

it is also funny you talk about Briggs weight and heaight, because a prime Briggs was 225 lbs, now he was overweight at 260 lbs

so yes, it was cherry picking

when you're a fighter, you shouldn't lose your humanity

Because that's what he is getting paid to do. I've got a feeling that if you liked Vitali you wouldn't be making an objection over this. You're well aware that this is a non issue, and that there is a long line of people to blame before Klitschko. Suggesting that the referee needed prompting to see that the fight should be stopped is absurd.

I thought everyone knew by now that vitali doesn't give a **** about anyone, lol.

I am a strong believer that he enjoys punishing people, and doesn't want to knock them out.

I wouldn't be making an objection (maybe, and just maybe) if Vitali hadn't cherry picked for a voluntary defense a dead man walking just to end up punching him in the head for 12 rounds

and history shows my claim is not absurd at all
as I have stated, many refs ''wake up'' when a fighter signals to the ref that his opponent has had enough, they suddenly stop the fight (as they should have done before)

                    Go to 5:40

This is probably one of the worst ref jobs I've ever seen.

Goes to show that some refs do need waking up even in extreme cases, Ike was known known for not being the nicest of people and for being a big puncher.
