Kotelnik is under rated because he isn't very exciting or doesn't have a particularly big name, but he has consistently given the top fighters at 140 a good fight.
YOU quoted "kotelnik doesn't make anyone look good" so I refreshed your memory my mentioning khan. The problem with people is either they forget the fact that khan dominated kotelnik or just want to forget about it. They said kotelnik was a bum when khan fought him but... when he whooped Alexander he is supposedly a tough fighter? But that's just hyporcritical haters for you.

As you said with khan being the exception kotelnik has given all the top fighters a run for their money, but I still see ortiz winning against kotelnik.

Kotelnik didn't make him look good, Khan made himself look good. You know what I mean? The rounds were competitive but Khan took most of them because he knows how to win rounds. Credit goes to Khan for that. See when you said "Kotelnik will make Ortiz look good" it seemed to me like you were implying that Kotelnik is poor, like he is some "euro bum." I never said Kotelnik is a bum, I always thought he is a tough fighter that can cause upsets at the top of the 140 division. I expect Ortiz-Kotelnik to be a tough fight that goes 12 rounds

You have to give it up to Golden Boy. They have been consistently stacking their undercards all year. November and December are looking good for the sport.
