Khan won the fight comfortably but there was some suspense there. Khan fought a very good fight. He might be the exception. How good have Alexander, Witter, and Maidana looked against Kotelnik?
Kotelnik is under rated because he isn't very exciting or doesn't have a particularly big name, but he has consistently given the top fighters at 140 a good fight.
As you said with khan being the exception kotelnik has given all the top fighters a run for their money, but I still see ortiz winning against kotelnik.Comment

According to a report in Golzka, former champion Andreas Kotelnik (31-4, 13KOs) is being considered as the opponent for junior welterweight Victor Ortiz (28-2-1, 22KOs) on December 11 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Kotelnik would return from a close August defeat to WBC/IBF champion Devon Alexander.

YOU quoted "kotelnik doesn't make anyone look good" so I refreshed your memory my mentioning khan. The problem with people is either they forget the fact that khan dominated kotelnik or just want to forget about it. They said kotelnik was a bum when khan fought him but... when he whooped Alexander he is supposedly a tough fighter? But that's just hyporcritical haters for you.
