Ortiz wins this. No sweat. He'll box this fight, try to display discipline, show himself as a contender.

He knows Maidana couldn't knock this guy out so theres no point trying to knock him out.

And Ortiz hangs out with Khan quite a bit, so there will be a serious exchange of knowledge there.

No doubt 140 is the best division in boxing this year.

This fight is going to be a dangerous one for Ortiz.

Kotelnik never makes anyone look good, He made a prime Witter look horrible, He made Maidana look horrible, He made Khan ran and look horrible, He even made Alexander a guy who threw volume punches look horrible, I don't know what an inexperience and lighthearted Ortiz going to do to look great in a fight with Kotelnik, can't believe people cannot see this one beforehand.

IMO this fight still will not test ortiz to see how much heart he got left or how he will overcome adversity coz kotelnik simply doesn't throw enough punches nor have power.
i completely concur. kotelnik doesn't have the power to scare ortiz. ortiz has already proved that he can run and win decisions against light punching hitters. the real test for ortiz is a relentless power puncher. a fight against urango or better yet a rematch against maidana would do more for ortiz imho.

I got ortiz by UD or even KO. I don't think kotelnik's style will favor him over the power punching ortiz.

If Katsidis beats JMM, big chance that Khan-Katsidis will happen in March in the UK.

If JMM beats Katsidis there will be no interest in Khan-Katsidis. JMM wants none of Amir. So JMM-Khan is not likely. Amir will fight Ortiz then.

                    kotelnik cannot be ko'ed.

if ortiz tries to knock him out he'll look very bad and struggle.

if he tries to box, he'll get a comfortable decision by quite a few rounds

This will be a clear win for Ortiz in my eyes. Ortiz is not as tight as Alexander, he has better legs to imo.

Ortiz's better balance, fluidity, speed, combination's will be too much for Kotelnik imo, infact I envisage him looking impressive in this fight and putting himself in contention for a fight with one of the top 3 guys.
