    ortiz UD.
kotelnik wont be able to do what he was able to do vs alexander cuz ortiz has the power to stop his advances.
great fight. this was like THE only logical match up for ortiz that would be considered a real test.

Kotelnik dominated Alexander (who is better than Ortiz)

Kotelnik is the only man to beat Maidana (who destroyed Ortiz in 6)

Kotelnik will beat the shit out of the HBO hypejob Ortiz.

Put your points where your mouth is. I've got 250,000 on Victor Ortiz to beat Kotelnik, are you game?

I just feel that Ortiz will be too powerful for kotelnik.

Great news, hope it happens. Murray would just have been cannon fodder for Ortiz, I'm glad he turned the fight down. Kotelnik is a serious test for Ortiz, and a great learning fight. It's far better from the point of view of his career. Plus it gives Kotelnik a chance to get back into the picture, so both fighters should be highly motivated, and it should be a great fight. Just hope it comes off ...

Kotelniks style doesnt match up too well against Ortiz, Ortiz is actually very technically sound, is bigger and hits harder than Alexander, and Kotelnik doesnt have the firepower to concern Victor

Credit goes to Khan for that. See when you said "Kotelnik will make Ortiz look good" it seemed to me like you were implying that Kotelnik is poor, like he is some "euro bum." I never said Kotelnik is a bum, I always thought he is a tough fighter that can cause upsets at the top of the 140 division. I expect Ortiz-Kotelnik to be a tough fight that goes 12 rounds
First of all, that was me who said that.

Secondly...styles make fights. Kotelnik is a good fighter but people are giving him a little too much credit for the Alexander fight. Let's not forget Alexander basically fought a crap fight.

Ortiz was in the best shape of life last fight. Disregarding the crap opponent, he looked very sharp, focused and strong. Mark my words...with no threat of power or advantage in skills/speed Kotelnik is gonna have another tough night, just like with Khan.
