I am thinking, he feels Amir would fight Katsidis( if he beats marquez)

Ortiz will win this. BTW kotelnik is not the same fighter he was when he fought khan, hell he fought Alexander coming off a 1 year layoff. IMO this fight still will not test ortiz to see how much heart he got left or how he will overcome adversity coz kotelnik simply doesn't throw enough punches nor have power.
Koltelnik could box his ass off though.

Kotelnik blocks many punches, that's his style.

Possibly he could outbox Ortiz IMO, because Ortiz won;t KO him.

if this is true, then the latter part of 2010 and early 2011 is looking a bit promising.

          can't wait :wank:

That wasn't the case when khan fought him, khan hasn't outpointed anyone in good fashion his entire career then he did kotelnik, that was his best performance to date PERIOD.

pretty good matchup,,,i know styles make fights, but they all faced each other and that will get people and the fighters talking, let's see how ortiz looks against someone who gave alexander a tough fight and took khan the distance and maidana

Lol, IMO he can't outbox ortiz, ortiz has great potential and you shouldn't underestimate his boxing ability. Kotelnik is no maidana.

Khan won the fight comfortably but there was some suspense there. Khan fought a very good fight. He might be the exception. How good have Alexander, Witter, and Maidana looked against Kotelnik?

Kotelnik is under rated because he isn't very exciting or doesn't have a particularly big name, but he has consistently given the top fighters at 140 a good fight.
