The reality is, if the roles were reversed, Mayweather would be labeled as a steroid user. Regardless of how people try and spin this, this fight was originally held up because Pac didn't want stricter testing for illegal drugs to be a part of this fight. Any way you slice it, that's wrong. Let's say Mayweather is scared of Pac. What does that have to do with a guy not wanting to be tested for illegal drugs? Absolutely nothing. But all of that is moot. I just hope that when the fight finally does happen, and if Mayweather wins, all of these people screaming to the high heavens that he was ducking this guy give him full props for the victory. Because the reality is, this same **** happen last year when Mosley jumped in his face after the JMM fight. Money didn't give a, "hell yeah we can fight right now", so his critics were screaming to the high heavens that he was scared of and ducking Mosley. Now, many of those same critics are dimissing and dissing his dimantling of Mosley as him "beating up an old guy." I guess Mosley got old in the eight months between the JMM fight and his ass whippin'. Many of those pounding Money now will have a million excuses to downplay and outright disregard his victory if he beats Pac, which is pathetic.

I hate to say this but you are dumb ***** and you did not read my post to refute it! Pac didn't said he doesn't want to be tested and running out right away otherwise he will not counter offered Floyd 24 days cut off, daily urine test if they want and blood test right after the fight. The reality is, if the roles were reversed, Mayweather would be labeled as a steroid user. You can call me names all you want. But, the reality is that I've probably forgotten more about boxing that you've ever known. First of all, having a peroid where you're immune to testing totally defeats the purpose of RANDOM testing. So Pac saying that he'll do up to 24 days before the fight and right after the figth meant nothing to me. Because the effectiveness isn't in the testing itself because any system can be beaten. The deterrant is the participants knowing they can be tested at any time. All Pac's original agreement said to me is that he'll have 24 days where he'll be able to cheat. But like I siad, that's moot now.I hate to say this but you are dumb ***** and you did not read my post to refute it! As for me being a "*****", I've been following this game far too long to be classified a *****, *******, or any other juvinille bull**** you novices want to throw out. The fact is, I've been following and a hugr fan of Mayweather and Pacquaio since before you probably knew either of them existed. Remember that little lewis-Tyson fight? Well, I do. Not because of the mismatch in the main event. But because I paid $400 to sit in the nosebleeds not to watch that sham of a main event, but to watch this kid named Manny Pacquaio fight on the undercard. So please, I'm not a child, so I know that I don't have to choose sides in this soap opera. I just call it like I see it. So please, grow up, and step ya game up if you want to come at me.Comment

Bro, I never said nor would it be creditable to say he ducked Lazccano or Hatton. Fact is he hasn't beat or fought a top welter under the age of 38 and coming of a 16 month layoff. Cotto, Pac, Cintron, Clottey, Margarito, Berto, Williams (when) he was a welter but yet those guys managed to fight at least one of the group. But he managed to beat Judah and Baldomir, what an acomplishment, Judah and Baldomir. I'm not buying anything. I'm speaking truth and facts so read my post and you'll understand why I KNOW he doesn't want to fight Pac. Here are some of my reasons why he doesn't want to fight...Bruh, don't buy into the Mayweather doesn't want to fight Pacquaio nonsense. These are professional fighters. I don't know how long you've been following boxing, but Mayweather has allegedly been ducking everyone his entire career. Larry Merchant actually accused Mayweather of ducking Juan Lazcano after he chose to move up to 140. He's been on the cover of The Ring magazine accused of ducking Hatton when he chose to move up to welter and fight the then champ Judah. He was accused of ducking Mosley. Now, he's blasted for KOing Hatton and embarrassing Mosley. He'll fight Pac, but he's gonna do it when he gets ready. If you guys have noticed, he's only fought once a year in his return. He's fought this year, and says he's fighting Pac next year. If he veers from that, then there may be some validation to him avoiding the little guy, especially if he fights someone else. But until this, I think all this ducker this, ducker that talk is senseless horse****.
Reason 1 If its such a concern why noy ask for it your first 40 fights???? Do you bone a chick 40 times and then decide you must have a condom on the 41st time??????? Its all BS 99.9999% of boxing matches in the past 20 years have taken place without USADA a testing, steriod have been in sports since the 1930s, so who is the one being dificult????????
Reason 2 The first time Manny cut off the blood at 14 days, he said you can collect piss and hair everyday until the fight which sounds more than reasonable and fair.
Reason 3 Plus the USADA doesn't prove you are clean remember Marion Jones?????? It's all BS just use the rules the athletic commission put in place. NO other profesional sports use USADA.
Reason 4 When have you heard steriods come out of Floyd's mouth until he was told to fight Pac, 1996 - 2009????? The experts know more about drug testing than the Mayweathers period and no state has adopted USDA testing. Nobody is even concerned about testing for any other major fight, so why Mayweather???? Plain and simple he doesn't want to fight Pac....
Those are all good and valid reasons to say Floyd doesn’t want to fight Pac. But since you asked I’m 32 and I’ve been following boxing since I was 7, it was passed on to me by my dad and I boxed in the military nothing major. I’ve been following boxing long enough to know that NO OTHER FIGHTER HAS MADE A STINK ABOUT DRUG TESTING AFTER FIGHTING 40 TIMES WITHOUT EXTRA TEST….. NONE, Name one???????? You can’t can you? So I stand by what I said, he doesn’t want PAC!!!!Last edited by Stl_Buay; 10-01-2010, 09:56 PM.Comment

LMAO!!! Mike Wilbon watches about 1 or 2 boxing matches a year. Now I think its great that this Mayweather-Pacquaio deal has brought mainstream attention to boxing. But seriously, Wilbon didn't even know Manny Pacquaio existed 24 months ago. I could care not at all about his opinion concerning the sweet science. Because the reality is, once Mayweather and Pac are gone, he's gonna put boxing down until the next mega event comes around.Comment

if wibon did'nt know what he was talking about, the biggest sports network in espn would've gotten rid of him.....its a common knowledge that floyd is a ducker and a cherrypicker, the biggest ever!..that is why he's the most hated!LMAO!!! STL, I don't really care too much about the USADA testing thing, so I'm finished talking about it. But if you want to discuss Mayweather's resume, here we go. I don't think even his most diehard of fans try and claim he's al ATG welterweight. But you, like a lot of his critics, fail to realize is that this guy started his career at 130. And he's beaten the reigning lineal champion at 130, lightweight, 140 (Hatton in a welterweight fight), and welterweight. And he beat de la Hoya when he was agruably the top guy at 154. So his body of work speaks for itself. People bust on him for Baldomir, but Baldomir was the universally recognized welterweight champion when he fought him. I've been following boxing for two decades and I've never seen a guy take as much criticism for moving up in weight and beating the real champion in a division like Mayweather has for beating Baldomir. And personally, I feel the age of fighters is irrelevant. All you can go on is what a fighter's status is when a guy fights him. Ya'll bust on him for fighting Mosley. But the reality is, Mosley had destroyed Margarito in his previous fight, was considered the top guy at welter, and was the consensus P4P #3. And since you're a Pacquaio guy, Freddie Roach flat out said that that Mosley was too good to fight at the welterweight limit. So age aside, Mayweather embarrased a guy that Pac's people were leary about him fighting. So there's no way as a Pacquaio fan you can bust on Mayweather for beating the guy.Comment

So now you talking about 24 days cut off is useless so did the 2 months random drug testing Floyd copied to the original Olympic drug testing. Did you know the real Olympic drug testing is all year round random testing? Means you will be randomly subjected to blood test 365 days or 365/24/7 not the useless 2 months OST Floyd invented because any fighter can roid himself up for 9 months and stop one month before the 2 months OST and nothing can be traced in his blood! You can call me names all you want. But, the reality is that I've probably forgotten more about boxing that you've ever known. First of all, having a peroid where you're immune to testing totally defeats the purpose of RANDOM testing. In my world, drugs is a very black and white subject. I'm the type of person that feels clean people don't worry about ANY type of drug testing, peroid. If a person wanted to come and pluck hairs from my sack right now, I wouldn't object because I don't use drugs. I don't care about Mayweather's motives for asking for the testing. My opinion has been, and will remain that clean people don't care about being tested any where, any way, or at any time. That's just my opinion. The truth is, if you took Pac's stance with your employer, you would be fired. Because in the real world a refused test is a positive one. If everyone at you job takes one piss test when they're hired and never tests again. But, your supervisor comes to you on a weekly basis asking you to give a blood sample for a random drug test. You may not like it. It may not be fair. But if you refuse or say, ytou can only test me on Mondays, you'll be fired. I looked at Pac the same way. This is my last post on drug testing. First of all I don't care about it. Second of all Pac supposedly has agreed, so its a pointless and moot debate. So now you talking about 24 days cut off is useless so did the 2 months random drug testing Floyd copied to the original Olympic drug testing.
