Like Dazed said, to fight who?

Seems like an intense nitpicking session to me.
Look at it this way. If he fights someone like Frazier he is going to end up disappointing both the fans and HBO. If your mando is at least half decent then by all means fight them, but if they are garbage like Hakkar, Brannon and Kelly then try and get out it.

If both your no 1 and no 2 mandos are garbage then by making them take part in a elimination contest means you will only have to fight one of them.

Meaning...we're embarrassed he was #1 so the best we can say is that we would've forced Jones to fight him...later.

Like I said it's nitpicking, though.

At that point he had just moved to LHW.. he fought Mccallum, Griffin twice, and Delvalle... he fought two softer touches in Grant and Frazier... but right after Frazier I believe that's when he fought Reggie Johnson.... it isn't as though Roy went on LONG stretches of weak OPP.. he had his soft touches like every other fighter in this history of the sport, but former and future champions were always coming before or after those softer touches.

And again, we was still a mandatory challenger...

At one point Roy had fought 7 of the ring top 10 LHW's... this **** is nitpicking... picking out two names on his resume and saying "he didnt have to fight that guy".

Not really. If Harding is your mando, face him, but if some guy who will most probably not last more than 30 seconds becomes your mando, then try and get out of it. Anyone would of been better than Frazier

Don't think much of the McCallum win, but Griffin was a solid fighter. I'm sure Grant wasn't his mando either

Reggie Johnson was a good win

Ring rankings don't mean much to me, they aren't exactly a good indication if a fighter is good or not. Ruiz being a top 5 hw comes to mind. Hopkins still being ranked within the rings top ten lhw's also comes to mind

Yeah but there was no one else to fight. That's the bottom line.

Luckily for us.... Ironmike's ranking don't mean much to the Ring.

                  • He was accused of fighting bums when He did. I still remember the fight with the security guard, the school teacher and the County clerk.
He dropped a bunch of points for those exhibitions. He was splitting the purse, finding guys for a few thousand and keeping most of it.
It was greedy and at that time there was a lot of forum haters He earned with his beatch moves. Loved the guy until He fought Hill. After that He kind of faded away IMO>

Surely there most of been someone else?
