Did you know Pac in Oscar fight has only 1 fight at lightweight (135) moved up at 147 just to fight Oscar. Now you ***** dumb think it was not fair for Oscar and Pac should fought Oscar at 154 or at 160, right? Beside did you know it was Oscar has all the say in that fight? Did you know also that Oscar was already at 145 one month before the fight? Did you know that Pac after he fought Oscar at 147 he moved down to one 140 and fought Hatton at his best weight? I think you should make also a thread about how Hatton made Pac weight drained himself to fight him in his best weight right? You should make a thread how your queen coward asked JMM to move 2 divisions above his best weight and fought Floyd in his best weight but still the frucker coward cheated JMM at the scale! In Cotto fight, did you know that he has 4-5 months to lose those extra 1 lbs (his fight with Clottey he weighed in 146)? Did you know also Cotto said from his own mouth he usually weighed in this weight range and he did not made any excuses about it? In Margarito fight, did you know that he made his name at 147 and by adding another 4 lbs in his fight with Pac at 151 will basically weight drain him, right? You an idiot isn't it?
Don't listen to this *****s. They just upset their hero shivering upon hearing Pacs name.

Manny was weight drained against JMM. did he make any excuses or his fans? his walking weight was around 144-146 lbs when he was fighting in a superfeatherweight. but Manny cut those pounds in a few months and didnt make any excuses. those haters should do the same. dont make any excuses. they have 2-4 months to prepare for the fight. there shouldnt be any excuses.

why are you assuming that Cotto would have came in at the same weight he did against Clottey?

stop saying that losing a few lbs would make a boxer weak or weight drained. they have 3 months to lose those "few lbs". its not like Manny said to Cotto that he had to lose 1 lb in a 2 days notice.

The issue is not the weight but the Body Fat %. For someone with 6% BF they will die trying to lose a few non water lb's. But if someone is 8% BF that weight will be easier to lose. It doesnt matter if they fought lower or higher it depends how your weight is orginized. iirc you cant be below 4% BF without dying and athletes are 6-13% BF.

Thats why for pacq putting on 5 lb sounds little to you guys but he needs to maintain his bodyfat % while gaining those 5 lb while eating 7000 cals a day while burning thousands of cals a day. Thats why they pay lots of cash for nutritionists instead guessing it. I want them to start doing bf% at weigh-ins so we see whos actually is in better shape and which weight class they belong at.

Those that think that a few lbs don't make a difference have never box or worked with any boxers.
Their oppinions have not real base if they haven't experience training.
Yes a boxer has a few months to loose the weight, but a boxer has also pushed his body to the lesser weight possible from the start.

I stand firm saying that a few lbs can make a huge difference in a fight.

                      Cotto lost 1 pound.

Who else? Oscar? Blame Oscar for that one it was his idea to fight at 147.
So Cotto walks around at 146??

People around here can't be that ****in ******!..

Cotto's walk around weight is in the high 150's low 160's and works damn hard to get to 147lbs and at that point he's dehydrated and weak..that's why 98% of boxers rehydrate up to 15lbs over night..

So 2 extra pounds won't necessarily mean water weight or fat..he's lean and dehydrated by 147 as it is..so now it's muscle mass which can make anyone weak..fat ****s around here won't know the difference tho..

Pacquiao walks around at 150..so all he had to do was maintain and gain muscle mass to hang with the big boys..not as hard as training, dehydrating and losing mass..

So to the "it's only 1lb" warriors hit the gym lose 30lbs and get to about 6% bodyfat then try to lose 2 more lbs in a span of 8 weeks..til you do that STFU actin like it's as easy as skipping a dinner or 2 out of the week..
