I'm talking in general and not about your hero. Generally a few lbs over can make you flat and sluggish. I"m talking about the effect of pushing for a few lbs less.

Cotto is a good example. You could see every bone of his body at weight in. Compare those pics with any other at 147 and you will see an over trained boxer.

A few lbs can mean a World of difference.

This plays a factor. For example - Miguel Cotto came in at 154 against Foreman. If he was forced to lose 2 or 3 pounds would it be that difficult for him??? He was at 147 for years and came in at 145 in his previous fight. I hear what you're saying though, it's much more than just 'skip a meal' or 'take a ****'.

He's referring to Cotto weighing 146 against Clottey.

He weighed 146 in his previous bout so no 146-145=1 smart guy.

It takes time to loose weight right and Cotto is one of the fighters who drains to make 147. At 154 He had full power, very similar to the time when He went up from 140.

If Cotto was a catchweight boxer, He would of attempted to make Yuri come down to a "catchweight" in between 147 and 154 (as Pacquiao is doing)

Thank God not all boxers are beatching out with demands of weight.

Cotto fought the Champion at his weight and EARNED the title the right way.

Seriously are you people ***ing doctors? And good job not taking into consideration that Cotto had more than 24 hours to ***ing rehydrate for *** sake! It's not like he went straight to the ring after that, he had plenty of time to eat whatever he wanted to eat and get a good nights rest the night before the fight. Seriously you guys will overexagerrate anything you crybaby drama queens!

Cotto weighed 146 his previous fight.

                      146-145 = 1
