    That is a lame comparison.

However, if you had a problem with the Pac-Cotto catchweight then you should have a problem with this one. If you didn't have a problem with it then you shouldn't have a problem with this one.

It seems there just a double standard IMO.

I don't care what his reason is, it could be so he could make sure he doesn't lose his figure, it could be because he doesn't want Sergio to enjoy a few extra twinkies, it could be because maybe he is trying to save himself for 147 and not have such a hard time going back down, either way it doesn't excuse nor justify the fact that it's WRONG WRONG WRONG..

if you're not willing to fight under the Middleweight limit of 160 pounds then you have no business fighting for the Middleweight title, the same goes for 154, 147 etc.. that is simply unacceptable.

        No no no my dude.

Why is he asking for it. What does he gain? What is the point? Why do you think Williams needs a 157 Pound catchweight.

I posted what I came up with. What did you come up with.

Because Williams is just as b!tchmade as Pacquiao..Pac fought Cotto at 145lbs for a WW belt..the limit is 147!!..now Williams is going for Martinez' belt of 160 at 157lbs???..

And GTFO with this "illusion" talk..everyone knows this corpse can make 126..there's no need to give off these illusions..so get the d!ck out your mouth and wipe that nut off your eyes and be unbiased!!..

I'm telling you..people act like their favorite fighters don't do wrong around here!..they're human too..but the nut jockers around here act like they're on their payroll and won't admit to ****

Thank you, Jro. As I've said consistently, the best comparison to this bout is Pacquiao-Cotto. And I had NO problems with that catchweight. I know it probably didn't help Cotto but I don't believe it had anything to do with the outcome. I was at the Cotto-Clottey weigh-in and Cotto hit 146 and was laughing and joking while Clottey was sitting his ass down and downing gallons of Pedialyte. I don't like catchweights but these two, along with Whitaker-Chavez, did not bother me in the lease. Pacquiao-Margarito? Where should I start?

That's what he was ranting about before with Manny, now PWill's at the same predicament and it's all good?

                LOL!

don't bypass the wrong doing of the fighters involved just because "it's going to be a good fight", honestly I would rather not watch this fight if it's going to be like this, I would prefer that they DON'T fight instead of fighting but at a ****ty ass catch weight title fight. this really upsets me, seriously man Boxing has been taking a nose dive recently with all these catch weights and bull **** like that, fighters don't have to be fighters anymore, you can win world title without even fighting under the proper weight limit, it's going to ****..
It doesn't matter. How many catch-weights has happen in history. Did it really matter when JCC fought Whitaker at a catch-weight of 145? No. What matter is that Whitaker got robbed. That is what mattered not the catch-weight.

You would rather not watch it? Then don't watch it. Is that simple plus you're going to be the one that is missing out on a very entertaining fight.
