Dude Williams is fighting a Top 5 P4Pounder and the best Middleweight in the world for a 160 Pound ring title.

Pacquiao is fighting for a record 8th title vs a guy who's last fight prior to being suspended a year was at 147 pounds only to get brutally KO'd then to come back at 154 vs. a guy named Garcia who he looked bad against.

Did I mention that Pac is fighting for a record 8TH TITLE?

2. If there is a 157 pound catch weight my guess is that Williams is trying to give off the illusion that he can fight under 160 Pounds still.

3. Also he was trying to get to 147 Pounds and is nowhere near 160 Pounds right now.

Stop overreacting everybody. Larry you said it yourself hes fought at 160 over 15 times. So that right there tells you it has nothing to do with trying to gain some advantage as the NSB trolls are on a mission to prove.

It doesn't matter coz no matter what anyone does this fight's bound to happen, and nothing anyone here in NSB can do something about it. The promoter and fighters all had it figured out, and whatever stipulation is (catchweights, hair pulling pre-fight blah blah) there's no stopping it.

Don't watch the fight, lose respect for the fighter, the show's all goin' through even if people who don't like it jump off a cliff.

Well you know I'm no fan of catchweights NO MATTER WHO IS FIGHTING and even if Pac's my favorite fighter I criticize him with those CW ****, but I can't do anything about it, so grasping at straws is not my thing.

I'm just saying if you hate catchweights like you say before, you have to be absolute and no double standards are involved, irregardless of the situation at hand. 8th title or 156th or not, a top 5 P4P or the best MW, a catchweight with a title is BS, and you yourself say it with Pac, but why not with Williams mate?

Everybody is trying to take cheap shots at Paul because of the heat Manny takes. Here's the difference. Manny asks guys that fight at 160 and walk around at 175 to make 147, or if they're a little more skilled, 142. This is not the same as asking a guy who fought at 147 and 154 his entire career to come in at 157.

It's pointless, but totally not the same as what Pacquiao does. Martinez will not be weight drained at 157. He will be just as efficient as he is at 154 and 160. Pointless, yes. Advantageous for Paul the way it was advantageous for Manny? Not even close.
