If that happens, then we can talk. As of know, me and several pac fans would like to see this next. I've already explained to you it's a process, moving up in weight, and I didn't expect (no boxing fan did as well) him to face Martinez next at 154. If he looks great against Margarito and the demand is high enough, then there is no excuse.

maybe the winner out of (khan-maidana winner vs bradley alexander winner). that would be good as well, unless it was khan - then the fight wouldn't happen.

martinez @ 154 is compelling as well - but he may be too big. that would be a GREAT victory.

if he wants to make a STATEMENT he would fight pwill. not even the most ******ed and delusional boxing fans could deny him at that point.
      won't happen though.
Are you serious? You'd take that over a chance at a paper title against an undeserving fighter? WTF is wrong with you?

Don't think so. Manny had planned on winning his 8th title since negotiation first took place against Floyd. They were planning on facing Foreman, but for some reason it didn't happen. It may look like a tune up fight, but it doesn't change the fact that it will be for the vacant WBC junior middleweight belt.

This is one of those "What if" scenarios and since Manny has defined the odds, several times, It's kinda hard for me to say fighting at 154 is impossible.
lol i actually think the same...and maybe even the biggest pac nuthugger out there did not think that pac can fight at 147 2 years ago. i also think pac can handle some of the 154 guys right now but for health reasons he better stay at 147 or even at 140.

Two tuneups in a row. Gotta hand it to Manny. Swinging both on PPV? He's quite the trendsetter.

floyd-jmm was a tune up for the same amount.

True. Then he followed it up with another tune-...oh wait.

It was a pointless fight, he shouldn't get credits for taken it.

i meant sarcasm, sorry if you didn't notice it. most floyd fans considered floyd-jmm a tuneup so it's ok for floyd to fight a lightweight at a catchweight. and it so happened that i was talking to one of the biggest floyd fan...imdazed, who is criticizing pac-margs at catchweight.
