Keep referring to "poor numbers again" with Clottey, I disagree. 700k was 2nd highest PPV this year with only 2 months promo and no 24-7 but still had a 50K gate which is third highest in US boxing history. That's pretty strong.

Put Mayweather in against Clottey with no 24-7 and only 2 months to market fight in Dallas with Jerry Jones and GBP behind him, and I'm not so sure he sells the same but I do know no way does he get 50k fans. His last two fights weren't even sell outs.

Also, forget Vegas influence other than PPVs. There's a lot more going on behind scenes. Pacquiao brings in asian whales, and almost single-handedly took Vegas out of 2 year slump with Cotto fight...they want Pacquiao even more so than Mayweather....and casinos are the REAL players here even more than HBO, I'd argue.

It did nothing for Floyd's resume.

I agree they weren't poor considering the opponent and the circumstances

This is why Margarito is chosen for Nov 13th fight. He gives Manny the best chance of getting the PPV numbers necessary to demand a 50-50 split.

But you are watching it...so in the end you really lost, considering the fact that you are so against the fight and flaming non-stop. Why not keep it real, like the homie crillz, and not watch it all together?

Very true. I agree. Sure didn't stop them from asking for 50/50. Now these f*gs are just making up ****

Pacquiao is not ducking Martinez or Williams, so what are you talking about? I guess Trinidad was ducking Roy by facing Joppy and Hopkins first..........smh
