Simply because of superstition, that luck will also be washed from his body if he takes a bath everyday. Pacquiao is also like that. He has a lot of superstitious beliefs in his head because this is how he was brought up as a child.

Again, you're basing it again probably on how americans think. Money is more important than superstitions or even values. Psychologically, PEDs usually make up for something lacking in an athlete. Americans have a culture of always excelling in all kinds of fields. Individual achievements seem to be the goal of every american athlete. Media has in fact contributed to all these pressures to every american athlete. How media glamorize and praise athletes who excel in their field of sports increases also the athletes desire to be famous and to be praised. No wonder such kind of culture has brought about the emergence od steroids/PEDs. No wonder, many american athletes would rather take PEDs/steroids (despite the danger of these drugs) to be famous and generate more money than remain and an average and ordinary type of athlete.

Who, among the athletes in baseball, basketball, boxing, cycling, running etc, are famously caught taking PEDs/Steroids?
No manny said it. And manny ****ed hookers while married so I'm thinking your assessment of his values are slightly off. I'm sure philipino culture doesn't excuse that does it? GTFO!

You say things about Manny's upbringing and values. So it is safe to say that Manny was brought with a strong faith in God like he claims?

Man, you're not reading the rest of my posts. You are simply taking things out of context. The whole point is that most famous americans are caught taking PEDs/Steroids. PED/Steroids is an american thing. Not a filipino thing, because it is not within the culture of filipinos to be too competitive. Most filipinos are rather relational. PEDs/Steroids are brought about by a culture of competition.

Again, please do a backread of my posts here.

i wish pac accepts full blood testing just to make the fight...or floyd agrees with the 14-day cutoff as he was ok with it before, again just to make the fight. as a boxing fan that's all i want...for the fight to happen. i don't really care about whose demands gets met or who takes control of the negotiations. this blood testing topic has gone awry and distasteful. a lot posters here are just fronting and acting self-righteous but everybody knows their agenda is caused by severe fanaticism.
