we all know the 2nd negotiation was one-sided. it's ****** to claim something for floyd in the 2nd negotiations because he never made his position clear. in fact he even denied that a negotiation took place although it's very clear his manager tried to negotiate for him.Comment

yes they do because manny has made it clear he wants to know when tests occur and when they stop. athletes that use tend to wnat to know when they are going to be tested so they can structure cycling on and off arund the tests. Doesn't prove he is on PED's.
I'm sure there are other factors. As for American cant understand I dont know these you have to be specific.
Silence is not a refusal. Silence is nothing but silence. If I call you a fa99ot and you don't respond that doesn't mean I can make a determination of your sexual preference. Lets at least be reasonable.
Mayweather didn't respond to top rank's atatement that Manny accepted all floyd's terms. Why didn't he say anything I dont know for sure. IMO its because the offer was not real. I base this opinion on 2 things: Marg's february interview where he said Bob promised him a November fight with Pac and the fact top rank never told us specifically what the "terms" were.
Pacquiao is the only athlete in the Philippines who stands out with the rest of the famous and best athletes in the world. You don't hear other filipino athletes having this kind of reputation as Pacquiao.
PEDs/steroids are brought about by an american culture of too much competition. Pacquiao would never get into that kind of thing because that is not a filipino way of doing things. The fact that there are no filipino athletes comparable to Pacquiao's feats is a clear indication that he is simply a unique kind of athlete. Intensive athletic competition in the Philippines is way way far behind what american athletes like to do. Pacquiao is not into this culture. I might believe that Pacquiao is into PEDs/steroids if he has been living in the US for years, but he is not. After every fight he would go back to the Philippines and stay with people who are not even athletes...you would be wondering what would influence him to take PEDs/steroids when the rest of the people he goes with are not even into any athletic competition, who could teach him to take all this sort of things.
Now just because Pacquiao refuses the first time to take the test, people would accuse him of taking PEDs? Maybe based on american athletes way of living, it's just rational to think of Pacquiao as taking PEDs, but the way Pacquiao is brought up "the filipino way," I don't think he is on PEDs. Now to quote you, "let's at least be reasonable on this."
Now on the other hand, even if Mayweather is not saying anything in public. It's still clear, he refuses to fight Pacquiao. What other reasons could there be? The question is why? Just like you, I don't know for sure. But based on the past boxing champions, like Hagler, Holyfield, Foreman and renowned boxing writers, like Bert Sugar and Al Bernstein, in the past, they say that boxers don't demand too much, they just fight.
Of all the boxers, present and past, it's only Mayweather who has this kind of demand. why?Comment

They are better than Marg is right now. Height has nothing to do with anything. Like I said manny took the more lucrative fight insteda of the better challenges. Hold him to the same standard you hold floyd and its no different.Comment

Your point about upbrining is respectfully, moot because Manny is earning money here in america. he is trained by roach, who has had at leats 2 fighters test positive. he is promoted by an american who is not above doing things to make money.Comment

All the pac marg fight shows is manny is a greedy **** that took the more lucrative fight rather than better challenges (bradley, Pwill, Berto) that are available. This is the same things pac fans and the media say about another fighter. Can't call it different just cuz manny's doing it.
Toney went to MMA because of money.
Holyfield is still fighting because of money.
Mayweather....nah...you know that already.
My point is that, he has one or two years left before he retires and he always says that as a congressman, he wants to help his poor constituents. I don't know, but he could be thinking that the money he can generate from this Margarito fight could probably help the poor. I just think he has his reasons for taking this fight. He is a prizefighter, isn't he?Comment
