It was Cotto who ruined Margarito not MOSLEY.

    There were a ton of rumors that Margarito was looking like **** in camp for the Mosley fight.

    Cotto definitely took a ton out of him.

    Like I said, if they didn't completely ruin each other, they definitely ruined the elite portion of each other's careers.

      I've always stood by the notion that Marg won the fight, but both of them left a piece of themselves in the ring that night. Mosley though was much more dominant even before the big shots began landing. Clear case of styles making fights.

        No doubt about it.

          I decided to watch the fight and only focus on what Cotto did. He ruined Margarito.

          Margarito won the fight but he lost the war.

          Your partially true.I didnt focus too much in that way.

          One thing is for sure....Margarito FANS better not say he's shot if pac pummels him.Never the less on a cotto rematch.Cotto's gone through some hell wars and back himself.

            This discussion made me go and watch the fight again. I've come to this realisation - both men ruined each other.

              Yes, none walked away the same. The difference is that ONE of those men came with clean hands and the other came to assault someone in the ring.
              He won, but inside his head He knows that He didn't really beat the guy fairly.
              I would say that from both, Cotto recovered almost 75-80% of himself while the cheater is nothing without his plasters. After a very loopsided win on his tuneup, lets see how many fans will be still standing by their cheater.

                Ah well, who knows and who cares. It was a great fight, regardless. I'm having a field day watching it again after a while. I'd almost forgotten how sick it was. Cotto obviously walked away with his soul ****d, but Margarito lost some of his own as well. Mosley finished what was left.

                Today, it's hard to tell whether Cotto and Margarito have regained their souls. There's only one way to find out!

                  How you figure when Cotto stop being the same since. He won the fight, and the war

                    Hmm, this is fascinating. I just watched it again (properly, in HD) and ended up with this score...

                    Code:
                    M || 9  | 9  | 9  | 9  | 9  | 9  | 10 | 10 | 9  | 10 | // 93
                    C || 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | 9  | 9  | 10 | 9  | // 97

                    I only found 3 rounds to give to Margarito! :shk1: Really, all he did was wing his shots and hardly land anything. Yes, there was oodles of pressure, but Cotto was constantly snapping his back with clean and accurate punches.

                    So I'm sticking with this scorecard. I watched it very carefully this time, and even re-watched some rounds just to be sure (particularly the ninth, which I ended up reversing).

                      He was taking plenty of flush shots from both Paul Williams & Kermit Cintron also.
