a boxer can fight even though he was ruined. its what you call giving someone another chance. Manny was ruined twice with a body shot more than 10 yrs ago. had a chance to redeem himself.

Yeah but getting KO'd early in a fight by a body shot is way different than taking punishment to the face thoughout the fight and then getting KO'd.

if thats the case Ricky Hatton is not ruined? it took Manny 2 rounds to beat him. he was in his best shape. Manny wasnt in his best shape when he got K.O.'s twice.

maybe Margarito wasnt really ruined? he lost the fight. got knocked down but it doesnt mean he cant get another shot or another fight. because a lot people always say when u lose a fight ur done, exposed, ruined etc etc. that i dont believe.

The Pacquiao fight will tell us what we need to know, but as of right now between the Cotto fight, getting dominated by Mosley, rumors that he was getting beat up in camp before the Mosley fight, and the performance he put on in his last fight, I think it's safe to say that Margarito's best days are way past him.

Also losing and being dominated are different bro. There's not a lot of success stories of a guy getting knocked out in his prime and coming back better or even the same for that matter.

If cotto would of finished the fight the way he started it, Cotto wouldve been praised for the boxing clinic he put on. Besides being discouraged due to the lack of acknowledgement Margs was giving him for landing flush power punch combos, Cotto was having an easy night. Tony cheated, Cotto got done dirty.. Cotto wasnt stunned or nuthn, but the fight turns 180 for some odd reason.. super suspect

Margarito ruined himself with the type of style he has. The way he fights is guaranteed that he is not going to have a long career being top-dog. His defense is grade A dog-****.

Well He did look like sht after their fight, but IMO it was more about Margarito not having his weapons. HE got used to those weapons and try to pittypatty Mosley .. this time He had no power and lost mentally before stepping in the ring.
No weapons, no confidence. Boxing is 90 mental strenght.

Hatton had shown plenty of weakness before. His binges and subsequent and frequent weight loss ruined his body.

Not that he would have beaten Pac, but its truth.
