I like fighting on the back foot, i can see why fighters like to do it but i'd never want to steal rounds, i always want to hurt people so thats probably why i'm so against it. I think you can fight with movement but IMO movement should be an attempt to create openings and not to get away from your opponent.

i've watched so many fights i cant really rememeber Hagler vs Leonard, i'll have to watch it again now.

ali and lewis are not in the same league talent wise. i cant see ali knocking out lewis because hes a big powerful guy, but look what ali did to george foreman. I would definitly take ali by unanamious decision

Remember also that Lewis got ktfo twice by mediocre fighters. Call it lapse of focus or whatever, but the guy was simply not in Ali's league.

I am honestly stunned that any person with any knowledge of boxing history can look at the Ali's resume and call him overrated.

Yes, to make it quite clear I've never suggested Lewis has the same level of talent as Ali... just that, on reflection, Lewis was pretty good, and I think the massive weight/height/strength deferential may have been too much of a climb even for Ali.

Yeah, but what we have to take into consideration is that Lewis wouldn't have turned in out of shape and unfocussed for a guy of Ali's calibre. Not only that, but while McCall and Rahman wouldn't be fit to lace Ali's boots, they can **** a lot more than Ali could.

i think lewis gives ali and holmes alot of problems because of his style and size... i'm not saying lewis would win, but i dont think it would be an easy fight for ali or holmes agianst lewis...
