Ali was just too quick for Lewis. In a fifteen round fight, I would'nt be surprised if Ali got him late. In a twelve rounder..unanimous decision for Ali. Don't think Lewis would be able to get to him.

This is WRONG. Ali is the greatest of all tahms! Of all tahms!!

I think Lewis's "jab" is overrated. It's not really a "jab" (as Larry Holmes once said) it's more sticking out a big telegraph pole in someone's face. It's huge, but it's not informidable. Ali by UD... maybe.
I dont see the big deal about Ali, i've forced myself to watch his career over and over again but ****ing hell he's boring.

I know you like him but i also know you like Junior Witter and Danny Williams, you have even got Chris Byrd in you av, thats says it all mate!!

Lewis Jabs looked overated but everyone he faced said it unaturally forceful, a good strong jab is a weapon and girly quick jab is just for show. Fast or slow a jab has to have weight behind it or its pointless.

I dont even like Lewis so i dont know why i bother, here's something i'd prefer to talk about - Rocky Marciano would have murdered Muhammad Ali, Marciano is so underated its silly, he was an awesome defensive and offensive machine.

I've always thought fighters from older generations are overated, Ali was so overated it was a joke. Watching Leonard run from from Duran in their 2nd fight was terrible. i get frustrated when watching these so called greats not living up to the hype but Rocky Marciano was the best heavy of all time, he just stalked his opponents and butchered them with ease, its very rare you will see a come forward fighter who hardly gets hit.

            Overated?? wtf, he was UNDERATED!!!

no offense intended bro, but Leonard didn't run from Duran..he embarrassed him and outboxed him and made Duran quit. He also threw some hard shots.

If you want to talk about running..he ran against Hagler

I was watching that fight at work today and IMO thats running, landing a few shots a round isnt boxing. I suppose he won though which is normally the most important thing.

I like to see a boxer go out a grab the fight not just steal rounds, thats probably i'd always prefer Marciano over Ali and Duran over Leonard. Even my modern day favourites are Tszyu and Hatton.

Leonard tried slugging with Duran the first fight and that didn't work as well. I'm saying that's my favorite type of fighter..but it was effective. My problem with his "running" against Hagler is that I don't think he deserved the decision..Duran quit..so no argument from him

I showed my mate Duran vs leonard II for the first time today, he was amazed at the whole "no mas" situation.

I like fighting on the back foot, i can see why fighters like to do it but i'd never want to steal rounds, i always want to hurt people so thats probably why i'm so against it. I think you can fight with movement but IMO movement should be an attempt to create openings and not to get away from your opponent.

i've watched so many fights i cant really rememeber Hagler vs Leonard, i'll have to watch it again now.
