The big difference... Lewis was an INTELLIGENT boxer. Foreman - no disrespect - will always be the Dope in Rope-A-Dope.

Oh yeah, Foreman was a good fighter but he had a one track mind, there no way Lewis would let someone like Ali rope a dope him. IMO Ali was the biggest dope of of the lot of them, Foreman and Ali got out with their health, its a shame but Ali didnt.

Clinton Woods would have KTFO both of them.

With that said Ali would try to be on his bike but Lewis would keep stuffing the jab in his face all night long...and sooner or later it would take it's toll on him. Probably by the 7th or 8th Ali goes to his corner saying, "No Mas! No Mas!"

Muhammad Ali would have little difficulty beating Lennox Lewis. He was the better boxer, way faster, had better stamina, more heart and a granite chin.

There is no way a prime Ali could lose a decision to a fighter as slow as Lewis. He would be an easy target, and Ali would dance around and make fun of Lewis for round after round, punishing him with lightening fast combinations. Lewis would not have the reflexes to avoid the embarrasing beating he would receive.

Lewis would have to knock Ali out in order to win, and considering the fact that big punchers like Liston, Foreman, Frazier and Shavers couldn't do it, I can't see Lewis pulling it off either.

Muhammad Ali by UD or late ko.

lewis may not have been the fastest havyweight ever, but he certainly wasn't slow either, he had the ability to throw quick combinations, and for a guy of 6'5 245lbs he was pretty quick on his feet as well, just look at the hasim rahman rematch. lewis was cetainly no slouch.

True. My point is that Lewis would be way too slow to handle a fighter like Ali. The little speed he did have would not be a weapon against Ali, who would have no problem avoiding Lewis' attack. Lewis was no slouch, but he would look like one in this fight.

lol the Rahman rematch? What the hell was Rahman doing stretching both his arms out like a ******ed mummy? inviting overhand rights and whatever else Lennox wanted to do. Dont ever mention that again. Worst display of boxing ever.

Muhammad Ali was the most overated boxer ever, he told everyone he was the best boxer ever and everyone believed him. I've gone well out of my way to watch him, i've even tried to like him but its always the same thing = i fall asleep watching him. He's so off balance when he circles the opponent one leg looks sorter than the other!!

I fully admit i favour the aggressive fighters but i'm a true boxing fan, i like to watch a defensive master just the same as i'd like to watch a ramaging puncher. IMO Floyd Mayweather is pure skill, IMO Muhammad Ali is pure overated!!

Lennox Lewis would beat Muhammad Ali.
