Couture is 47 man lol You think grandpa Couture can take punches from a pro boxer? Randy has been gettin dropped by MMA guys easy...MMA guys!
Like I siad, if Kimbo can learn a ground game with his slow striking and win...then Toney with his fast hands can win tooComment

Yeah, I remebmber actually I planned to bet on the guy in your avatar to beat him before that fight got cancelled. Would've been a nice earner that one.
Toney, aside from being fat and shot, also doesn't have the right style for MMA striking IMO. Obviously he has good hands, but someone like Mayorga would've had a better chance due to the fact that he's arguably the biggest, strongest, hardest hitting 154lber in the world. I don't really think any boxer is a natural fit for MMA, but the 'puncher's chance' is greater if you're aggressive and can actually punch very hard.
Randy hasn't been knocked out 5 times. The only way someone could think that is if they just looked at a bunch of results online instead of watching the fights.Comment

Toneys striking is still miles ahead of any guy in the UFC...You really think Toney is gonna use the shoulder roll in the UFC? LOLYeah, I remebmber actually I planned to bet on the guy in your avatar to beat him before that fight got cancelled. Would've been a nice earner that one.

Offensive and defensive skills are different things. Toney's offensive striking abilities are not the best in MMA. I think a boxer would be best served by blitzing their opponent instantly, Mike Tyson-style. That just isn't the way JT does things.Comment

And the early ones, specifically with Liddell, he wasn't really mentally focused.
That's Randy's big flaw. He's got all the blueprints set up, but if he's not mentally into it, it all falls apart.Comment
