I don't get the point of this thread. Toney would lose against the majority of the top 10 HWs in boxing. But in UFC, he just needs to deliver a well placed and timed shot. Ray Mercer beat a former UFC champ, so surely Toney could possibly do the same.

what a joke. this is what MMA is so good at: taking jokes like Butterbean and other totally shot, fat old fighters like Ray Mercer and trying to make them represent all of boxing.

If I actaully wanted boxers to try their hand at mma(which I wouldnt, since its a waste of their talent) I would expect that GOOD boxers would be competing, instead of ****ty old shot ones.

If Kimbo slice can learn a ground game and WIN in the UFC lol Then Im pretty damn sure James Toney can after learnin a ground game too. Kimbo trained for maybe a year, Toney for 9 months and Toney is the Pro athlete that can adabt better
