Steward knows this is an easy fight for Cotto because Chavez is a bum and soft.

Chavez Sr was a legend. I wanna see how his son turns out. Cotto is highly skilled fighter but its time for chavez jr to step up. Dont do like Atlas fighter and turn down a big opportunity over fear. I hope they make this fight next.

Calm yourself, and quit over-using that word "bum".

OK, so, what did Cotto gain by beating Foreman? Not much in terms of name value right now (depending on what Foreman does later on), but nonetheless he impressively took a young, undefeated fighter's "0" and bagged himself a belt. With Chavez Jr., he can do the same thing in defence of that belt, plus he has name value.

The result - Cotto's resume continues to grow better all the time. As a fan of his, you should be welcoming this fight with open arms. Guys like Berto, Angulo and Martinez can come later. Cotto still has plenty to offer.

A Chavez jr. win is far more impressive than a win against Berto imo.

                  Berto is shite.

True, it might be an intriguing and great fight but it will not be as hyped as DLH-Tito. Neither JCCJ or Cotto are at the stage level that DLH and Tito were when they faced it other. One thing is for sure, it will be a whole lot more entertaining and exciting then DLH-TitO

I'm starting to think Chavez Jr. just gives Cotto the most money out of the other guys left. There's no other reason to do it.
If he wins hopefully it takes him to Angulo, Berto or even Margarito afterwards but probably he does need more time with Stewart. You don't click with your tainer and what he brings just in one fight although I don't see this as a walk in the park for Cotto. I guess I'm one of the few Cotto fans that think that way

Second, Cotto doesnt have anything to gaine by beating this dude. Not even money cuz cotto is the 3rd biggest draw in the sport.
Ranking wise is a step back for cotto
                    .

This is just arum with his in house fighting, and is Cotto loses he will regret listening to arum everytime.

Cotto should had fought Martinez, even if he gets his butt whooped

1st of all Martinez is going to be tied up with Williams and he is a legit strong, fast and skilled 160 while Cotto is just wetting his feet at 154.
2nd, Only if Cotto losses it will be a huge step bak in the ranking but no if he wins.
3rd, he will gain more money with JCCJ at this point than facing any other boxer in the spport not named PBF, Pacman or Margarito in a rematch.
