I don't even want this fight to happen on purpose now. I want Cloud to go build up his 20 pro fights having self before opening his mouth like this. Dawson should get the big pay days because he already payed his dues by beating champions and top 3 light heavyweights since 2006. Some bum with two old men in his resume talking shit, doesn't deserve to just get a fight on his lap. He needs to earn it just like Dawson earned his spot.

Dawson is not a big LHW and can make SMW. Not to mention, Bute is probably a fight or two away from moving up to LHW. Size wise, there's very little difference.

To compare it to Mayweather/Marquez is asinine.

Bute vs Dawson in Montreal is a super fight for Canada. It would sell a lot of tickets because of Bute. And Dawson would be like the B-side but people will know Bute can lose the fight.

The funny thing is that Dawson has had more fights at super middle than at LHW. He began his career at 160/168 while Bute started at 175. I wouldn't make that argument but in light of a horrible Mayweather-Marquez comparison, it's an easy counter.
