That's all well and good but you're attacking Dawson when he has done nothing to be attacked.

If Dawson beats Pascal impressively and wins over some Canadien fans, a fight between him and Bute is HUGE. No one in their right mind could blame him for fighting Bute over Cloud.

If Dawson doesn't fight Bute, he absolutely should fight Cloud. But if a fight with Bute gets set up for early spring, you're gonna claim Dawson ducked Cloud. And that is simply not true.

Again....Cloud blew his shot. And he doesn't run the show, he's still a nobody. If Bute doesn't want to move up then yea I completely agree, Dawson needs to fight Cloud. It's the best available fight. But Bute is the better alternative.

Cloud will get his chance to get beaten. Did he forget Dawson also beat Adamek? Cloud is simply not a big name and his first real fight he went 12 rds tough rounds against Johnson who Dawson beat with no problem. I like to see Cloud vs Dawson in the future but I think Dawson deserves a big payday against Bute.

His point is Dawson tried to fight in the phonebooth with Johnson the first time and should have lost. Cloud looked better fighting that way. it doesn't go to say that CLoud is better, since he is not, but Dawson should fight him next instead of picking on smaller guys like Bute who have no chance at all.

True dat bully but the version Dawson fought is a FAR cry from the one Cloud fought. ****, Johnson didn't even look the same. He was on his Larry Holmes, flabby and sick game against Cloud.

Folks, Chad Dawson has earned the right to chase a big fight. He's EARNED it. And I have no doubts that if he is unable to secure it, he will fight Cloud. you know, like he tried to do before? When HBO had that two-fight offer setup for Cloud and he walked away? If Cloud is the real deal, he'll still be around.

Cloud on HBO one week apart from Dawson on HBO. Both have belts. Perfect setup to UNIFY. No excuses.

Further, Cloud beat Johnson toe-to-toe. Who does that? Not Dawson...

Dawson-Pascal was scheduled long before Cloud-Johnson...

I remember when they made the fight, people were complaining about why they were waiting until August to fight. This fight has been made since around January-February. Cloud-Johnson was made around 2 or 3 months ago again. Cloud just had promotional problems and switched to King, which ****ed up the last fight in April...

Also, all Dawson has is the interim WBC title, while Pascal has the full title, so it wouldn't really be a unification until after Saturday.

Don't compare this version of Johnson to the 1 Dawson fought, especially in the first fight. Glen would not have started throwing the no power shots he was throwing in the second half, if he were close to that version. Johnson from the first fight would've beat Cloud clearly.
