Dawson is not a big LHW and can make SMW. Not to mention, Bute is probably a fight or two away from moving up to LHW. Size wise, there's very little difference.

To compare it to Mayweather/Marquez is asinine.

I don't know where this idea that bute is going to move to 175 "in a couple of fights" comes from when the super six guys are not far away and those are big money fights.

And it's not an asinine comparison because you're entire point was based on them being top ten pound 4 pound as to why it's more meaningful than a unification bout.

Its not that no one wants it to happen, its still something I want to see but how is it more meaningful than Dawson/Shumenov? they are basically the same fighter and both have a belt.

Shumenov has like 8 fights and has never fought on HBO. But yes, at some point (if he still has the belt) absolutely that needs to happen.
