If there was no agenda you would say he is now a 6 time champions instead of claiming 7 time champion.

He won titles from 130-154 that is 5 weight-classes he never lost and retired once and reclaimed it with the Shane win. That is a 6 time champion in 5 weight-classes and a 4 time lineal champion in 3 weight-classes.
he was a 6 time champ before he retired...5 wbc'c and 1 ibf

      Link pls.

Shows that Mosley became the lineal champion by KOing Margo after Floyd retired, so by beating Mosley, Floyd got it back.

Lineal should be certain. Shane Mosley just lost before that fight.

Show me a precedence of #1 and #3 duly recognized for the lineal title.
No I am not talking about the ring. I am talking about lineal.

Wlad and Chagaev fought for the lineal HW title #1 and #3.

There have been precedence before. Is nothing wrong with recognizing Floyd as the lineal champ. Just cuz you the lineal champ doesn't mean you the best in the division. For example Baldomir was the lineal champ but Marg was the better fighter. Steven Little and Frank Liles were the lineal champs at 168 yet James Toney was the better fighter.

Just cuz Floyd is the lineal champion(And, yes he is the lineal champion) Doesn't make Floyd the best in the division. He still has to fight Pac to prove that.

That is bull**** Larry come on. He was a 5 time champion and now a 6 time champion.

If that is the case Roy Jones a 20 time champion at LHW(And, I mean just at LHW alone) since he had every damn belt besides the WBO. How you going to be a multiple time champion in one division if you never lost or gave up the title? think about it man....

Damn, so from the time Lewis retired up until Wlad-Chagaev, there was no lineal HW champion? How'd that happen?

You must be sleepy or still dreaming right now JRO

Floyd? 4 time lineal ? How the **** is that?

Lets assume that Larry's link is valid.

He was lineal at 130 ( Genaro ) , 147 (Baldomir) and Mosley w/c is BS

= 3 Jr Lightweight and Welterweight

None, until Wlad-Chagaev. There was a ring champ in Vitaly but he wasn't recognized as the lineal champion. Cliff Rold can explain this better than me.

Ring and Lineal doesn't always equal the same thing.

boxingscene's cliff rold only consider Mayweather as 3 time lineal champ, not 4.
