No it wasn't.Yeah Larry is right. The lineal champion is "the man who beat the man". It was started by Margarito vs Cotto. Margarito beat Cotto, Mosley beat Margarito, Mayweather beat Mosley. Mayweather has the crown and is the man to beat at WW because he "beat the man who beat the man". It's different The Ring title which Floyd held both Ring/Lineal titles when he won them back in 2006.
It was started by Margarito vs Shane.Comment

Well stylistically Shane doesn't have a style to give Pac problems. He is not a slick fighter nor a smart counter puncher with great timing. Nor has a very good jab.
Style makes fight wise Shane really isn't a stylistically nightmare for Pac.Comment

Floyd is the lineal WW champ. He is not the ring champ but is the lineal champ.
However, he is not a 7 time champ. Winning the lineal title back makes him the 6 time champ not 7.
However, 6 time champ and 6 division champ are two different things. If that is Larry agenda. Oscar was a 6 division champ but a 10 time champion.
2 different accomplishments.Comment

After Floyd retired, there was no man to beat. In 2008, Margarito vs Cotto were the top WW's along with Williams who no one wanted to fight so he stayed busy at 154-160. Margarito and Cotto were left as the top 2 WW's. Who ever won from there was going to be known as the #1 WW. Margarito won an became the man to beat at WW.Comment

Mosley has hand speed and power. Hand speed, something Pacquiao hasn't faced since...never. Marquez no, Diaz no, DLH no, Hatton no, Cotto no, Clottey no, Margarito hell no.Comment
