It could have gone either way and i wouldn't have complained.. this was with Floyd injured half way through. He showed what was up in the rematch which he gave STRAIGHT away and proved he was better.
I've watched the fight a few times and I think there were about 4 or 5 rounds that could go either way I think floyd won the first 5 rounds clearly and Castillo clearly won around 2-3 rounds... I thought the judge cards were clearly biased but I felt Floyd did enough work early to hold off Castillo and win by one round but it could have went either way. With that being said Castillo was the champ so he should have got the nod in such a close fight. I'd have to watch again to give more than that... its been a while since I watched it. I think its a null issue personally though. Floyd was injured in the fight and he gave an immediate rematch and clearly beat him soooooooo.... it doesn't matter.
If you're going to say Mayweather lost to Castillo the first time around, then you should also be saying Pacquiao lost to Marquez, twice.
now this is just ******. pac-jmm fights were so close that i wouldnt argue too much if some had jmm winning but you cant deny the knockdown that made the diff in the 2nd fight and the judge's admitted scoring error w/c led to the draw in the first.
in the first castillo-mayweather fight however, it was clearer, castillo shouldve won. even the whole hbo crew said "it wasnt the fight they saw", they all scored it for castillo.
At the end of the day Floyd gave Castillo an immediate rematch instead of waiting years to fight him again. Why would he give Castillo an immediate rematch if he felt he was going to lose to Castillo?
lol at this. a rematch was set immediately after, jmm priced himself out, some call it he ducked pac, coz he fought in indonesia for 30K instead of 750K
people are grasping at straws becasue this is the one fight that floyd had that was close. Look, some people really believe he lost and its fine. But if you only think he lost because you don't like him, that's silly.
you're making this melodramatic. floyd wasnt an arrogant prick back then, but clearly castillo won the first on merits. you make it sound like ppl who scored it for castillo only watched the fight recently.

the definition of being biased^^^^^^all the ringside scores had jmm winning that second fight with manny
