Is it fair for a 6'3 tall man to fight a 5'6 man because they're the same weight?

Fights are not decided by the size of the fighter there decided by
speed power skill short guy's have been beating taller guy's
    since boxing started.
WTF when did he become an inside fighter? Seriously man I think it's you who's never seen the man fight because he only sits there throwing a hundred punches a round without getting countered because it's all coming from range. He'd just be smothering all his punches if he did that all from the inside.

Seriously man I did a face palm when I read your statement here.
Stop embarrassing yourself. Williams fights inside and out.

Yeah and how many fights have Clottey and Margarito had at Middleweight? Seriously Of Margarito, Clottey, and Williams who was the one who was schedualed to fight big giant monster Middleweight Kelly Pavlik.

Seriously when you go from wanting to fight Kelly Pavlik to fighting Pac man it's obvious that Paul Williams only wants the fight were he has overwhelming hight, reach, and weight advantages.

          What exactly are you arguing?

I'm arguing about the fairness of the fight. Not whether it should be made or not or if there have been unfair match ups in the past. Or if the smaller guy can win. All I'm doing is answering the thread question.

Williams is currently one of my favorite fighters btw. And I am intrigued about this possible fight. I'm not trying to discredit him. I am just pointing out that this is a size mismatch.

Have you ever heard of a fair mismatch???

Occasionally he fights inside sure, but when he goes into wind mill mode it's all from range. Dude Emmanuel Steward is the king of having his fighters fight tall. When has he ever critisized Paul for making himself small and fighting on the inside.

I also cant see the Youtube video at work.

"He's nothing without his bricks"... He was mentally drained." I heard all of those BS excuses after Margarito lost to Mosley. It won't be any different here. If Manny can beat PW the issues of Williams height and reach shouldn't be an issue. And lets not act as if Clottey and Cotto didn't re hydrate after the weigh in. Or the next opponent (who PW beat.) I guarantee that Pacquiao will get a lot more credit for beating Williams than Margarito. If that's what you're worried about.
I'm not saying fight to prove himself as a top fighter, but fight to prove that he can go back down and still be as good as he was prior to moving up. I also question him being good at 147 again, which is why I want him to face a top WW before he faces Manny.

The issue was where they rehydrate back to after the weigh in. And Williams doesn't rehydrate any more than either one. If he does, prove it instead of guessing.

It would also be nice if more than a couple dozen people would attend his fights.

He does it every fight at some point. He's not a fighter that only "occasionally" fights that way. It's a part of his game. And Stewart's opinion has nothing to do with this.

How many people attend Clottey's fights? And don't use Pacquiao as an example because he sold that fight.
