See what I mean. You have no problem making excuses for pac. Cmon Pac is no better.
what excuses? surely you know if the mayweather fight had happened, that that would probably be his last, he and his team were vocal about it

Pac is retiring so its ok to fight for money. NO NO NO. If he doesn't take the best challenge he is a ducker like floyd right?

like devon alexander said bradley hasn't earned yet the right to fight either pac or floyd. and besides he is jr ww trying to make a fight with the top dogs in ww. he hasn't even cleaned out his division yet, in fact he has a very potent competition at 140 that he needs to face first. he had only one fight at ww but that was against abregu, a untested prospect. if only bradley went up to ww and beat berto then you can make a case for him. you can't compare him to cotto or margarito who have already proven their worth at welterweight when floyd spurned them.
as for williams, the guy already fought as high as middleweight...i can only think of money as his motivation to challenge welterweights. and it's not like pac started his career near the welterweight level for christ sake. he started his career at 106 lbs whereas williams first pro fight was at 156. if pac decides to go up and fight at jr middle then you can make a case for williams.

To be Honest Pacquiao and Mayweather career are very similar, The only problem is Mayweather isnt very likeable so much more is held against him.

you think a 5'11 margarito at 154 is a walk in the park for a 5'6 one-dimensional fighter? and no, he still wants floyd for his last fight, but for some reason floyd suddenly wants a vacation.

and as one poster said here, cotto/marg@154 > bradley@147.

              Brick:

Tim is the #1 rated fighter at the weight manny holds the lineal title. Shouldn't manny defend the title at 140 vs Tim? (I know he really is at 147 but drop the titles then).

paul is coming down to 147 and is the consensus#3 p4p fighter in the world. If manny can fight ODH coming down for big money, can't he fight paul coming down because it "good for boxing?"

Cotto had barely been at 147 and marg was 2 fights from losing to daniel santos. Had they truly proved their worth?

And, you do know srl fought duran, who moved up, instead of aaron pryor right?
Spinks couldn't handle the power of Tyson, do you have Micheal Spinks in your list of Top 10 ATG HW ? If you do, don't tell anybody ! Ali is the greatest HW of all time, foreman was a top contender who did the best he could against the GOAT HW. Cuevas couldn't handle the power of Hearns "please dont compare Floyd to Hearns..." When Ali " again, i hope you don't compare Floyd with Ali !!!! " fought Leon Spinks , he was 36 years old and most importantly he was past his prime and he lost the fight, he still had the balls to rematch Spinks. So again, the last fight of Floyd was against a 38 years old fighter who is past his prime. Stop defending Floyd from the things he's doing wrong, Floyd is a great fighter but he must fight the others that are as good as he is, not the one's who are past their prime. Ive been boxing for 30 years now, i saw many great fighters, Floyd is not the GOAT that he thinks he is... Time will tell !

You didn't answer my question. The point is sometimes fights between great fighters are blowouts. It just happens. If you've been boxing that long then you know srl ducked pryor.

I'm not defending floyd. But if it's wrong for floyd to do it then its wrong for manny right?

pac's current weight is 147 and he has a belt. if pac's next fight is at 140 and his opponent is not bradley then you can say he avoided bradley. if it's 147 then bradley is out because he hasn't done anything worthy at that weight. i can say berto has more right to that fight than bradley.
true williams is #3 but he earned that status at 154 & 160 lbs...that's where he should be fighting. if pac has to fight paul it should be at 154 to be considered good for boxing. there's no point for paul to go back at 147. pac, once he went up in weight he never looked back.
Cotto was already the wba champ and had fought the likes of quintana, judah and mosley...he more than earned the right to fight floyd over hatton. margo was also ww champ that time. they even offered more money to fight floyd but floyd chose to fight baldomir for less.

                      Fair points.
they even offered more money to fight floyd but floyd chose to fight baldomir for less. not true. Floyd made more fighting baldomir, but not much.

Marg was not ww chanp at time. Zab was lineal WBc/WBA/IBF champ after beating cory spinks. Baldo beat him for wba/wbc belts (zab didn't put up IBF onsome bs technicality) then floyd beat zab for IBf then marg wn WBO title then floyd fought baldo for lineal title.

If money is even you fighting marg or the lineal champ?
