Haye had 3 of the belts WBC, WBA and WBO plus the Ring Magazine belt which carrys a lil more weight than the IBO but not much. I don't think his accomplishments at CW can be disputed, he was always going to move up and did so.

I'd rate Wlad as the champ at the moment just because he's got the WBO, IBF and The Ring. You could argue that he's the WBA champ as well after beating Chagaev but dude has got Hepatitis, shouldn't be in a ring and deserved to be stripped so you could argue that Haye is the champ. I think the only way to settle that is for Haye to fight Wlad and Vitali to fight the winner. I'd fight my brother for $10m. I'd smack him and his bird.

The thing is none of the belts mean ****, not even the Ring. Too many agendas involved

But he had only TWO world title fights at that weight.

The first was against the fading Jean Marc Mormeck, who was shot after his two wars with O'Neil Bell.

The second was against the paper champion, delicate-chinned Enzo Maccarinelli, who had been previously KOed by the low-level clubfighter Swaby.

He never fought the best PRIME cruiserweights at that time:

      1. The IBF Champion, Steve Cunningham, who has a style that Haye wouldn't have been able to deal with.

      2. Tough and skillful Tomasz Adamek.

      3. Hard-punching and durable Krzysztof Wlodarczyk, who is a year younger than Haye and has never been stopped.

      David Haye is a fraud.
haye would have destroyed cunningham & adamek had just moved up after his dawson loss.as for the polish guy? come on you just hate haye...adamek could still end up fighting him at HW.he owned 3 of the belts.haye is not a fraud...he just outsmarted your klitschkos & now is a bigger draw.he can sell PPV & the klits can't...

Thanks for bumping this thread and reminding people that Haye wasn't really "undisputed" cruiserweight champion.

How many times you gonna make this thread? Cunningham was only the IBF champ because they stripped O'Neil Bell before he lost to Moremeck in the rematch. Haye then KOed Mormeck.

According to WBA rules, if a fighter holds a WBA belt and holds at least one or more belts of the other sanctioning bodies then he is called the Undisputed World Champion.

"Fast Eddie" would school the Gayemaker.

At the time Haye had won/defended his crusierweight titles, Steve Cunningham was on a streak of inactivity. No duck there.

Spot on, and he's an even BIGGER FRAUD at heavyweight. He even "fights" a guy called "Fraudley", what more evidence do you need?

                      Wrong!

Steve Cunningham defended his IBF title against Marco Huck on December 29 2007, a month after Haye's November 2007 fight with Mormeck, the first of his two title fights.

                      http://boxrec.com/media/index.php?title=Fight:1250919

After defeating Huck, Cunningham called Haye out to unify, but the Gayemaker chose the easier titleholder: china-chinned Enzo Maccarinelli.

Cunningham called him out again after Haye's fight with Maccarinelli. But Haye took a long rest and then fought old shot Monte Barrett at heavyweight, and then started boasting about how he was going to KO Wladimir Klitschko.
