Roy Jones was very good. Whether or not he ducked fighters...to me isnt really the major thing. He still should of fought guys like Benn, McClellan, Eubank..etc..Whether people think he would of beaten those guys...none of us really know cuz he never fought them. His legacy would be one of the best if he had fought those guys and won. But..his legacy is missing..some because of it.

Imagine if Jones Jr became the first man to defeat Eubank and then beat Benn in Benn's next fight after McClellan. He'd deserve mad props and probably would be seen as the best ever in my eyes. But I honestly think Eubank would of got to him, infact I'd of put a fair ammount of money Eubank KOing Jones in the later rounds.

Stop with the Toney weight excuses. The ****ing guy was 200+ during most of his middleweight career, he never complained about his weight when he "won", but complained YEARS after losing to Jones.

No he wasn't at all, he had never ballooned upto near 200lbs until before the Jones fight. I've read Toney say that he was at his best at Middleweight when he stayed 165-170 year-round.

I was actually being sarcastic..I read what you said.

It's easier for someone to say who Roy ducked, than to recognize and give him credit for what he has done over his career...

Roid Jones is a disgrace to boxing as far as I'm concerned. What he said after the Glen Kelly fight sucks "I'll never fight Joe Calzaghe cos he's too dangerous.. he's fast, powerful, hungry, and he's unbeaten. I can make easier money fighting easier fighters." I mean FFS, the guy sucks.
