Great Super Heavyweight Fighters of the past were all beaten by GREAT smaller men.

It can happen to the Super Heavies of today too.
Yes, it's what I'm saying, only in that post I forgot to put the S before the HW lol.

That's kind of like saying a featherweight should move up to lightweight because there is more money in the division. That'd be great if he could, but not all fighters can do that.

That does not even account for the percentage difference. If you want to go there, Manny was at an astronomically bigger disadvantage against Clottey than anyone recently against Wlad.
but he is also undoubtedly one of the best ever.

he doesnt get recognition for nothing.

these fighters dont come around ever 2 years.

im judging by the rule and not the exception

Pac is a rare and very special fighter, he is not the norm but in most cases and exception to the rule.

Just look at JMM at WW, most fighters even good ones at a physical disadvantage like so many smaller HWs are can't compete.

This defeats the purpose of weight classes at all which is to ensure fair competition.

We need a superheavy weight division. Otherwise, less talented men will win fights just by right of their size.

The thing about the Klitschko's they are the exception rather than the rule.

Think of all the **** fighters like Julius Long and Garing Lane that are huge and suck.

Well, you are going to see the same type of height/weight gaps in upcoming fights like Juanma/Marquez, JMM if he fight Khan, we just saw a similar gap in Martinez in his win over Pavlik...the gap in size between the Klitscko's and the other heavyweights is massively overstated simply because they are great fighters while the rest of the heavyweights are merely good or worse.

Exactly , great bigger fighters have also been beaten by smaller mediocre fighters too , its not impossible

Its easy to see how a super heavyweight division could dilute the klits acheivements when boxing pundits in the future could discredit the majority of their wins against heavyweights rather than super heavies

Well they often do do that. And it's slightly different with heavyweight as it's such a massive cash cow and point of focus in boxing that the cruiserweight division is basically viewed as a pit stop.

Guys who can plausibly move from cruiserweight to the gold paved streets of the 200lbs and ups are always gonna go for it. Whereas there's not really any fiscal distinguishment between divisions like featherweight and lightweight, their earning power is dictated by their inhabitants.
